Good showing or not..a loss is a loss and a win is a win.

Who cares if a team makes a good showing if their season is still over afterwords.

I don't know, you can tell us next week when yours is over!
go get the basketball out, you lost.

What a classy person you are.

What you talking about TRUCKED?  You talked more smack than most on here, and very few of yours were "classy".

Good game BH.  They played with alot of heart, no doubt.  Both teams were a lot of fun to watch.

Go and pull up my posts, you will see not one where I said we would actually beat you guys, no score predictions. Most of the posts I had were trying to figure out why we didn't get any respect whatsoever. I told you guys to bring it and you did. Although you may not admit it, this game was not the walk over you expected. If you had read the earlier post than the one you responded to, you would have seen where I gave your team their due respect. The classy remark was to the poster who once again after a hard fought game with you guys, showed no respect.

Our defense gave up 2 first downs, 19 yards and only gave BH 5:43 in possession time for the second half. The first half was pretty even on the stats. I questioned at first whether not playing a few kids both ways might not be a good idea, but week after week we pull away in the second half. These kids only practice at one position, it has paid off.

BH's qb is a great athlete, and they are better than their record.Great game.

I agree 100%.  Putting all the trash talking behind.. BH gave PN-G all they could handle last night.  Hats off to their quality program, dedicated fans and coaching staff.  Would like to see BH as part of the district next year.

Other than the longer drive to the stadiums in the Triangle area, I would like to see us in 20 4A as well. Great turn out by both teams last night. Does most of 20 4A travel as well as PNG?

Great job Indians!  Nice Large (and loud)  crowd tonight at Stallworth.  11-0 and getting ready for the next round.  Good luck against the Brenham Cubbies!

Standing room only on the PNG side, i thought bh would have had more fans seeing as it was close to them

Great game both teams PNG was a little off in the middle of the game. There defense was playing soft for awhile. PNG will play better football next week. BH great game great QB. Good Luck to you all next year.

And kudos to the gentleman from Dayton who sent a card and a nice note to Mr. Davenport, our fan who had a heart attack during the PNG vs. Central game.  What a good sport and great football fan! If you read this, know that it makes a difference about how people feel about Dayton.  I now am sure Dayton is full of nice people, just like Port Neches and Groves!  Good luck in the future. Come yell with us next week==you'll be welcomed.

If we had been 10-0 there would have been more folks there. I don't think some of our "fair weather" fans thought we had a chance, so they did something else. The first home game of the year, against Lumberton, we had more fans in our stadium than I've ever seen, there wasn't a space open. After we lost to Lumberton, the crowds got smaller. I wasn't surprised with the turn out Friday night.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
