1.
I talked with Nederland, PN-G, LC-M and Ozen fans at the game and thanked them for coming tonight and supporting us.... I think there is a group of us going tomorrow night to support Nederland...
And PNG welcomes all fans at our game tomorrow at 7:00 at the Butch. Gonna be a good game, but I'm sure we can beat Dayton.  Go 20-4A and the PNG Indians!
 2.

19-4A can go 4-0 if we all play our game and make fewer mistakes.  All 4 19-4A teams are better.
If you are saying that the 4th best team in 19-4A is better than Nederland, you are smoking the cheese. Yea any team can win on any night. But we already beat GCM pretty handily so how are they better?
PNG beat them handily, also.  Go, 20-4A!!!! 0-4
 3. Chase Bertrand from PNG is the best athlete in this area.  Sorry, but that's true.
 4.

The Hill couldn't beat there way out of a wet paper bag. Ozen 21 another 19-4A 1 and done 7
Welcome to the club--PNG has a great bunch of haters.  As to your game, it could go either way.  We beat Ozen.  It will depend on who executes well. Man that’s an oldie but a goodie LOL 8) So if we beat Ozen then that would make them what??  I love this smack though, but I feel bad for Ozen because right now all of your 20-4A buddies are touting you as the most dangerous team entering the playoffs. Now when BH wins we will be told next year that the only time we ever got past the 1st round was against the worst team in 20-4A history. If we lose we will also hear about how we got beat by a mediocre Ozen football team. No win sistuation for Ozen. I hope to see a good game, BH will have it together and ready to Friday!
Quit trying to predict what people will say. If you beat Ozen, I will be the first to say you earned it. When I said they had the best offense we played this year, I was not lying. You will see.
I just know all of the BH haters out there and they are just waiting for this one. Not speaking for everyone, but you will see the ones on here making ignorant comments whether BH wins or loses. You don't have to tell me about thier offense i can see the stats they are putting up and took notice when they took Ned into the 40 's. BH will have to play mistake free ball or they will be sitting home game two instead of beating Brenham 8)
5.
Go, Pirates.
Yes, Pirates, lay it on Crosby.  BTW, isn't it cool to receive all the "love" from others (such as using terms like 'PNG-like offense' etc.)  I'm supporting all the teams in our district, even the Bulldogs (although I choke and when I say it===maybe they'll think I'm barking! lol)
 6.
I had forgotten that Dayton is the only thing more arrogant and obnoxious than PNG.  Thanks for reminding me...
Darn, and about 10,000 Indian fans planned on attending your game Thursday at Lamar and giving our support!!!!! There goes my support for vidor (and I went to school there, unfortunately).  Go Crosby!
 7.
PNG was a state power in the 70s because of their execution, not because they had the state's best athletes. I see this in our O-line. The blocking against Livingston was tremendous and this is as good as I've seen the Pirates in my 30+ years of watching Vidor football. Execution is everything.
You are dead on, buddy!!! I saw every game in the 70's up to now and that is exactly why we won---we executed. My son only weighed 169 and was the starting OLB on the team that won the state championship.  Heck, we were picked to lose every game BUT we executed. Watch the Indians closely in these upcoming years because we have a coach who has a plan and our Indians are executing better and better each game.

And isn't it Daytons 16th straight year to the playoffs?
On the forum, and yes, 16 straight years in the play-offs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like a really, really weak district to me.  We have talent from almost every team in 20-4A
 9.

Where are the ant bites?  Hello, BH posters?  Have you recovered from the 10-0 celebration last night?  What, you lost?  OH NO! That's OK you can still play PNG in the playoffs.  What, not PNG?  Ozen- OH NO!  Enjoy the most athletic QB you've ever seen.  Don't you just hate it when you stumble right at the finish line and all of your "friends" start laughing at you.
It is unfortunate we will not get to face PNG in the playoff. I think we would have won. Give Crosby their due. We weren't prepared. Probably looking ahead one game too many. Our boys were very dissappointed after the game last night. They will refocus and have a different intensity next week. They arn't used to losing and had forgotten what it felt like. We will bounce back next week IMO.
You "think" you would beat PNG?? That's what you get for thinking when you're not used to it! lol ;D ;D
 10.

Do not see the Pirates winning this one! PNG too much for them.
You may not "see" the Pirates winning, but you will "hear" about the Pirates win around 10 tomorrow night. LOL  ;D
This Indian "woman" knows you will leave our reservation with your with your crossbones missing and chopped to pieces!
 11.
BH is takling over stallworth against GCM to make it our de facto 2nd stadium. Much like a vacation home you might rent to the beat down Baytown schools ;D Oh, I will be at my vacation home this evening  ;)
One thing for sure, it has the steepest ramps in the state
 12.
PNG by 14 maybe 10. Vidor loses the next 2 to be the 4th seed. 28-14
Finally, someone with good sense on here! Like us or not, we're gonna win and win big.
 13.
Oh, I see this ending badly!
I think this poll was stated incorrectly.  It should have read "which team has the most fans who actively support their team, win or lose." We usually don't have too much to whine about.
 14. Prediction from a little ole lady: This game will be the first game in another 20 year series of PNG domination.  Remember this in this year and the coming years.  If I prove to be wrong, I will be the first to apologize but I smell the tide coming in. 41 years of games and hoping for 41 more..... Go, Indians! Your loyal fans love ya!
 15. And my two cents-----there is no stadium like the Reservation to fire up our Indians.  I say that if people want tickets they could have gotten them Tuesday if not before.  Sorry for those who decide to go at the last minute. This game reflects the greatest fans of the greatest team.  If it were somewhere else, we'd have a few hundred more fans, but would Nederland? I doubt it. I suggest we play at the Reservation this year and next year we play at Lamar and do so every other year until Nederland gets a new stadium. We already have one.
 16.
2009: 37-7 Indians 2010: 38-7 Indians 2011: 39-7 Indians :)
Cool, but due to our increased defense and our running qb, I think 49 - 0!
 17.
Does Cent repeat as dist champs next year
Nope, sorry. Next year it will be PNG all the way. Central can come in 2nd and, last, are the poor little Bulldogs! lol
 18.
From the time the final vote was counted (3 weeks ago) until it was made public I know an INJUSTICE was done for the selecting of the COACH OF THE YEAR. First of all, this post has NOTHING to do with Coach Crouch, he and his staff have done an excellent job at LCM. Secondly, Coach Washington has NOTHING to do with this post as well. Im about to show some FACTS about the two programs and I hope you can see why I believe an INJUSTICE was done. Returning Starters LCM (14, 7 & 7) Central (4, 1 & 3) Returning Letterman LCM (24) Central (7) District Record LCM (2009 1-5, 2010 4-3 NO PLAYOFFS) Central (2009 1ST YEAR AS HC 5-2, PLAYOFFS 3 ROUNDS, 2010 6-1 OUTRIGHT DISTRICT CHAMPS, PLAYOFFS 2 ROUNDS) Central WON the 2010 20-4a DISTRICT  Title with 12 Starters from the 2009 JV, 7 Letterman from 2009, & 2 Starters from 2009 Freshman & 1 Starter from 8th Grade!! Now who should have been the 2010 20-4a COACH OF THE YEAR???? Easy to answer - BRANDON FAIRCLOTH! Which team went the farthest?  PNG
 19.
You know what?  This Indian Nation have shown sooo much support this last weekend by showing up in mass numbers to root my Jags on.  One of which, became an official Jag fan for a day.  Sat next to me, wore a Central hat (which I've provided...  ;D ;D ) and a Maroon jacket.  I appreciate that.  So It will be so hard for me to root against this team.  My mind is telling me that PN-G will have a war on their hands just like this weekend and will lose.  My heart is telling me that the Indians will gut it out and get the 'W', by any means neccessary.  I don't care how much of a fool others may think I am, I'm rolling with the Indians all the way.  42-36 Indians.
Thanks, BMTSoulja1! We were the two older PNG fans (wearing purple) sitting amidst your fans and yelling like crazy for Central! People were nice and supportive and appreciative of our support.  We appreciate your support also.  20-4A all the way is our logo!! lol PNG will win! Manvel doesn't scare us.
 20.
I find it odd that the PNG/Manvel & Dayton/La Marque games are sch.same day/same start time. Not much chance to scout either or watch.I would have liked to watch both and the revenue total would be alot more.
Yes, go Broncos!!!!!
 21. All I can say is that I am glad us PNG supporters don't have to brag and posture! We all know exactly where we are.
 22. I feel sure we can beat Manvel. The Indians are "cooking" right now and only get better each game. We keep playing error-free ball like we did last night and I feel sure PNG will find a way to send Manvel running. I was concerned about Manvel before we went to the ballgame last night, but now I'm feeling much more confident. Willis was the real thing and we hung tight all night.  We will again.
 23. The Port Neches-Groves Indians; the fans; the fun; the wins and the melding of two great communities that we all call "home". Once an Indian, always an Indian.
 24. This is SO easy: 1. Brandon Faircloth 2. Doug Ethridge 3. Danny Malone/Matt Burnett (tie) 4. Bum Phillips 5. Dan Hooks/Curtis Barbay (tie) Sorry about the ties; we've just had a lot of great coaches here.
 25. Cougtalk--please keep talking. I love how you think PNG is "squishy", whatever you mean by that.  Keep telling everyone how weak we are--hope they believe you. I especially liked your comment about Dayton and Central. Do you know who scored 49 points on Central and pulled out the starters in the 3rd quarter? Must've been Dayton by your estimation. So, everyone, don't worry about PN-G; they are just pushovers.  ;D FYI, I'm talking tongue-in-cheek and ROFLMAO.
