We heard this smack last week and you see what happened! This old lady predicts PNG will win big time. Jags better be worried......Indians have long memories.

We were at Ozen last year and every other game. In fact, we arrived in Livingston at 2:00 in the rain. PNG has many loyal fans--we go even when the team is not great and we stay until the end of each game, win or lose. Overall, I'd put our fans up against any other teams in the entire state! Scalp 'em, Indians!

Vidor played Central and scored 56 points while giving up 57. Sounds like neither team has a defense. Scalp'em, Indians!

Thanx.....You know when we played PNG in 7 on 7(I coached WB)...I could tell they we're going to be good...Doty is gonna be a great QB.. He'll probaly be cut loose against Central...I think...I'll say they key on your RB and force you guys to pass, if succesful, this will be Doty's biggest game. Funny--that was Livingston's game plan. They may "key" but they won't stop Harmon.

PNG's Allen Harrington is playing for the San Diego organization. Left this past weekend to go to spring training in Phoenix area.

I do, too. I also think hiring him will give some other young players a "boost" and it will increase the number of boys going out for football. I think we probably have some good players walking the halls. Most of all, though, I heard from an excellent source about how excited both he and his wife are to come here and to me that's the most important attribute he can have--excitement and enthusiasm go a long way! I can tell you what they saw----his winning record. Hopefully they'll be smart enough to hire him as quickly as possible. Statistics never lie and I KNOW his reason for coming here is to win a state championship so watch out everyone-Indians will be on the warpath!

Danaher was one of the coaches that didn't want the list released to the media. Therefore I don't agree with the leverage for a raise speculation. IMO he will take the job if offered. Then offer it!!!!! He'd have support like no other coach in the state and the best darn team to work with. I want another state title, too. 1975 was too long ago.

I highly doubt that. If that was the case why would they even interview the five finalist. Why wouldn't they just hire this coach? On top of that, the interviews have never even been made official by PNGISD. That is all message board / blog chatter. I highly doubt PNGISD is interviewing five candidates over the course of today and tomorrow at the direction of some coach who is calling all the shots. WHAT IS SEEING THE LIST GOING TO PROVE? They HAVE already hired the coach. An offer was made yesterday and accepted. PNGISD is going to hire the best candidate. This round table discussion is not going to amount to anything more than a chance for the media members to ridicule and bash PNGISD. Let's just hope they got ALL their facts straight before they start ripping them. A lot of credibility can be lost quickly airing out dirty laundry that is fabricated and not based in fact. Maybe even more than 5.

Don't feel alone. I live in PN, have for years, had season tickets since 1956, love the community and the Indians, and I've been "attacked" because I also think the law should be followed. The AG has ruled on this issue several times previously. There ARE people who make threats and, I promise, the next threat I get will result in a call to Paul Lemoine, PN Chief of Police. Please, folks, realize that not all PN people are arrogant and think they're better than the law. I don't care who our next coach is (but, I admit, I do have some I'd love to see hired) and I just want PN bashing to stop and everyone to get along. All this will pass--sooner if we follow the rules and laws set down by the State of Texas.

Not that it matters, PNG "faithful" would be ok. You see, over here in PNG land, we respect the decisions of the respective school administrations.....again, it seems that more people that DON'T have a "dog in this fight", are getting more upset than the folks at PNG. Know what....I can almost bet the PNG faithful feel sorry for you for letting something like this get under your skin..... PNG>>>>>>>>Honor.............Pride.............Tradition........"Priceless" Hate to tell you this, but there are LOTS of unhappy PNG people around, but don't post for fear of retribution. Not many of the people I speak to say they respect the PNG administration. Follow the law!

I DO live in this district, but I think the citizens have the right to know the names of the applicants and voice their opinion, also. I heard LCM sent the citizens a questionnaire to be used the by committee so that the citizens have some input into their decisions. Not so in PNG. Also, I hope others in our district don't think everyone in PN or Groves think they are better than everyone else and above the law. This issue has been ruled on already. I also hope that this is not a ploy used so that three people choose the person they want regardless. I hope these members remember that we voted them in and they are supposed to listen to all the citizens. Time will tell.
