1. Try watching any game through a more neutral lens and not your black and gold colored glasses. The refs missed plenty of calls on both sides. Almost always happens. If you're honest you saw Vidor get away with some things they should've been flagged for. It all evens out in the end. As is the way with most high school ref crews.
 2. PN-G's lowest point totals this year: 29 vs. Gregory Portland, 20 vs. TX City, 28 vs. Vidor. The next lowest score was 32 with the rest being really close or over 40. While last week may not have been Central's best game, we held their RB, who before our game averaged 9 yards per carry (someone correct me if that's not accurate), to -1 yard. Against traditional running attacks our D has done alright this year. We struggled against Ned's version of the wildcat, the Wing-T from Livingston, and at the beginning of the game Vidor's rushing attack. Where teams really kill us is the passing game. So if BH becomes one-dimensional because of their hurt QB, good luck. It has been a while since I have not seen gaping holes in opposing D's for our RB to run through. And if you do stop the run we'll pass. We have a very balanced O, when the coaches want to. I'm gonna give BH more credit than everyone else though. 35-24 PN-G.
 3. So I usually just get on this site during football season and stick to the high school stuff.  But my brother told me about this thread.  I took the time to read the whole thing this weekend, and I gotta say:  Y'all are my new heroes!. OU SUCKS!!! ....that felt good!
 4. Just looked at some pics of Aldine's staduim, there isn't a track.  So while Brenham's coach may be limiting our fan base, we are gonna be real close to the field.  I'm sure y'all know where I'm going with this: we're gonna be even louder.  Also, with the seats on the grass in the endzone it is gonna be loud and PACKED.  A bigger stadium would be nice, but I would like to see Brenham try to score with our fans jumping and screaming at them from the endzone they are trying to score in.
 5. How did the blocked PAT and run from the PNG vs. Central game not even make the nominees for best special teams play!?
 6.
Man, what a long day at work....OK, so back to business.......Too Slow, Rookie Coach, One man defense, playing way over your heads and a weak district. This all equates to a one and done performance in the playoffs. Have a nice trip back to your teepee. ;D
Wow that's awesome. I wasn't aware that one guy played D for PNG.  How about that D line who puts pressure on the QB or breaks through the line to stop the run game in and game out?  Or the LBs who provide great run support? Or the CBs and Safteys who are there to either break up the pass, pick it off, or stop the receiver before the first down marker.  You cannot possibly say our D is run by one man based off the ONE game you saw him play.  I know he played great that game, but honestly he has not had a huge impact consistently all year (assuming your talking about #8 Dre Dunbar).  Our D as a whole has stepped up and held even the most high powered scoring offenses in our district to minimal points.
 7.
ILL GO FOR THE JAGS AND IM FROM VIDOR GO JAGS GO PNG YOU SUCK
WOW!!! Do I sense some jealously there!?  I'm really not sure there's any other explanation for that comment (unless you were joking of course).  If a team that beat you 35-13 sucks, what is that saying about your team, HMMMMM?? ??? ???
 8. Should be a pretty good game.  Could go either way, depending on who makes more mistakes.  Central will have to hang on tightly to the ball against a hard-hitting PNG D who forces lots of turnovers.  I'm not sure you can say that Central D is better than PNG's; PNG has allowed a good amount less points. I say PNG's D will stay tight and the trend will continue- Central will score no more than 20.  The question will be how much PNG's offense can put it, especially with a backup kicker, not that they have kicked a lot of field goals this year though.  PNG wins 21-20. This will be the first and only game I miss this year, unfortunately.  I'll be listening on the radio, though.  Good luck to both teams; stay healthy, and please please PLEASE show some respect, play a CLEAN game, and don't have a repeat of the fight last year.  There is no room for that in football, this is not hockey. P.S. Good luck to both teams in the playoffs. Represent SE Texas well!!
 9.
our offense is two- dimensional, which will get us farther than other teams, and our defense is phenomal. we force more turnovers than anyone in our area. no, i am not bragging. i'm just speaking the truth. it's been a long road to get to where we are now. can we be beat? yes, on any given day! are we going down without a fight? no... i'm very proud of the boys maintaining levelheaded. you wouldn't be to tell that from all our fan posts on here. you may "hate" on png and say that we're arrogant, conceited, egotistic -- whatever you want to call it -- but we're nothing more than moms, dads, grandparents, friends, and fans that are proud of our team. we bleed purple and white at the reservation. winning or losing we WILL always be FAITHFUL!
AMEN!! This is one of the most intelligent posts to date on this thread.  Anyone can be beat any day of the week, i.e. Central last week to Livingston.  Oh and i believe the turnover margin is somewhere around +21 or 22.  That is insane in and of itself!  Good luck to both teams in the remainder of the season, however long that may be.  And don't bash a team you have only seen once in week 0 and no absolutely nothing about.  Do your homework.
 10.
You guys are just TOO SLOW, you might have little size but OMG, you guys are slow and speed is not something you can develop over night. And with a rookie coach!!!! Does he have the stamina to make it in the playoffs. But, I will give him some credit, he has gotten you guys to PLAY WAY OVER YOUR HEADS.
Y'know that's what they said about our team last week. The Indians haven't faced a team as fast as Ozen, ya'll are in for an upset....look what happened.  They couldn't do much of anything against our D.  Faircloth is great and all, but some people need to give credit where credit is due- our D coordinator.  He has done an outstanding job this year, and despite the fact the Ozen scored 20 on our 2 and 3 string, no one has scored more than 20 on us this year; even with the "highest-powered" offenses in our district.  Oh and BH, and CROSBY, and Texas City.  I don't know how much BH has improved, but it sure as heck better be a lot, because the Indians will be ready for them.
 11.

Doty to St. Clair all day. 7 TD's. Central can't handle a passing game as strong as this one. Thats all I have to say. This topic should be locked after I put this because that's what's going to happen.
Hey i hope yall pass the ball as much as you guys say..I think our Secondary will take this invitation very willing..
Actually we have been pretty balanced with running and passing.  I just don't see Ozen D being able to stop the balanced attack. For that matter, I don't see Ozen's offense putting up many points up against a D who has allowed 53 points all year when the next stingiest D in district, Nederland, has allowed 103. 7 passing TDs is a bit outrageous, especially when many of PNG's passing TDs this year have been big plays. We have so many weapons to use in the red zone(harmon in different packages, cody ross, matt desmond, or ryan st. clair) who needs to pass down there?
 12. Should be a pretty good game. PNG wins if they eliminate their one big mistake so far this season: penalties. Otherwise it could go either way. Vidor better be teaching their boys to hang on to the ball this week is all I can say, because each week PNG's turnover margin keeps going up and up (anyone know the exact stat on this? I have not seen it in a while and was trying to calculate it, but I can't remember exactly how many we had/lost in each game). Be ready for a hard hitting defense who hasn't allowed more than 20 points all year and in half of our games only giving up 7. Here's some nice stats:

Record District Record PF PA Port Neches-Groves (6-0) (3-0) 160 77 Beaumont Central (5-1) (3-0) 176 126 Vidor (5-1) (2-1) 221 122 Lumberton (4-2) (1-2) 155 120 Livingston (3-3) (1-2) 201 182 Nederland (2-4) (1-2) 108 161 Beaumont Ozen (2-4) (1-2) 100 168 L.C.-Mauriceville (2-4) (0-3) 110 155
Indian D held the 2nd highest scoring team in the district to 7 points (which by the way runs a similar offense to Vidor, except only 1 shifty tailback instead of 3 different ones), what can they hold the highest to???
 13. Guess I could've named the post something better, but that's what I get for not getting on here enough. *shrug* I've been a member for almost 2 years, I need to start checking here more. I really meant it for a place for to share cool stories about your fans. But while we're on the topic, the NDN "true fans," as 33 called them, were out in Livingston last Friday. I've heard some stories about BC fans being very boring, not sure if they are true, or just if it's just the person I heard them from is a PNG grad and is used to the noise level at a PNG game.
 14. Share your stories here! Here's mine: Last week PNG vs. Livingston I arrived at the stadium 2 hours before the game started and there were no seats left in the middle section. I know it was not very big, but it was raining and cold. Now that's devotion! The rest of seats steadily filled up until we had packed our side at game time. The band and Indianettes sat on the bus until almost half-time when the rain stopped. PNG fans screamed the tune/words to Cherokee whenever necessary because of the lack of a band! The stands were so close to the field, we knew everyone heard us; it was awesome!
