[/quote]I got to admit Soulja1, that was my one homer pick of the year against Central, on the more serious note, Nederland will dominate this game and score lots of points if their defense can get the stops on defense, if they can't, I agree low scoring game. Nederland wins either way, I just see if being a high score for Nederland.

The reality is, and I know this is not the place to talk facts, but the Dawgs are not the same team that everyone has been looking at. There is a 6' 5" 225 lb reason we are not the same team and if you think he doesn't make a difference maybe you should ask Ryan Brady! I am prediction rain Friday Night, footballs that is, and Vidor better be able to run, not on offense, but defense! There is a new QB in town and he can chunk the rock!

[/quote]OK I have not seen him play and can't comment, but my question is if he is so good, why was he the 5th QB to be tried. I am sure he has played alot of football. Why is he just now the QB?

Good Luck to both teams in the mud pit, called several jr high games at nederland this year and my cleats kept sticking in the mud on the pivot! Nederlands field is in horrible shape and I see a low scoring game after it rains all night Thursday night and most of the day Friday!

Dionte hurt his knee against Waller in the 2nd game and didn't play for a few weeks.  His first full week of practice was for the Central game and he still didn't know the whole offense.  He did lead us to both of our scores in that game playing part time.  With another week of practice he had a very good game against Livingston.  Hopefully he keeps improving every week and leads the Dogs into the playoffs.

He was actually the 3rd QB, but when the other two went down he was also injured. He started the season as a WR, TE, and DE. He's a junior, great athlete, best basketball player in the school. Played QB in middle school. At this point, with all the adversity that Ned has been thru he is a great leader and gives the Dogs the best chance to win. In a perfect world, he would not have to play QB, but he is doing a GREAT job!

I am hoping for a Bulldog victory(no direspect to Vidor)so we can get 2 mid-county schools to the play-offs. However, is it to much to ask of the new Q.B. to take this additional burden on? Afterall, he has only been Q.B. for only 1 game, right? I have not had the chance to see him play, but I hope for the Bulldogs that he is that good. Good Luck Dogs!

"We threw", what position do you play?  I dont believe that the same QB will be playing in this game. All I am saying is wet, muddy, playoffs lives at stake it will be harder to throw than it usualy is. This being said it will also be tougher to hang on to the ball running it every down, the only difference is the same backs that have played all year for vidor will be playing friday night. Believe what you will this time of year experience matters.

[/quote]i saw their field last night and it's already mushy and muddy. look for nederland's band to play some sort of fight song thru every vidor offensive play. i'm also sure they will mispronounce every vidor player's name when called.
