These are the players I saw that were strong both offensively and defensively this year.  Some of the players who have regularly been on the team over the past several years had strong years with the bats but did not with the gloves or strong years defensively but not with the bats.  I believe some get mentioned based on their history and not what they did this year.  They are still strong players but the above guys had better all around seasons this year.
