Why so many?  My daughter played 10U for the Katy Cruisers Gold last year (12U Pearland Stingers this year).  I always thought was the biggest problem out at KGSA.  To many teams and not enough girls.  I'm guessing yall had a good turnout at tryouts and could afford to field 3 teams.
Having three teams is better than putting 20 – 25 girls on one team.
 2. Think I will be at the open practice on Sunday.  I went to the tryout this past Sunday and was very impressed with the amount of girls who showed up.  I must say that I will always be proud that my daughter was a part of the Crush Organization.  I want to thank John Harrell for being a part of my daughter’s life, for it was he that helped developed her into the player that she is today.  Also, Harrell’s Gold Team has 8 girls that will be going off to play at the college level.  With the amount of girls that showed up this past weekend, I can’t wait to see this Saturday and Sunday who shows up at these tryouts and practice.  Now I look forward to seeing her play at Lamar, Go Cards.
 3. Alex will be signing with San Jac Volleyball today at the LCM Field House.  The ceremony will be at 5:30 P.M.  Congrats Alex!! We are proud of you.
 4.
The coach says the schedule is nearly complete. A couple of WAC and SEC schools have to finalize things after conference realignment. They will play 8 fall games with 4-6 of those at home. Sept. 22 LU will host Texas Women's University at Ford Park. They will also play at Louisiana-Lafayette in the fall. As far as the spring things will start at the UTSA Tournament. They'll also play in the University of Texas Tournament. She couldn't remember their spring home opener though.
wow...that's awesome, I can not wait.
 5. Congrats BC, way to come back and rebound after being down by 5.  That was too intense with two Orange County teams playing at the same time.  ;D
 6. OMG…feelings are hurt over a sign?  Personally don’t see a thing wrong with it.  Good luck BH, go win state.  WOW
 7. This is crazy, Vidor is taking a bashing from incidents that occurred 30, 40, 50 years ago.  Yes they did have problems with the Klan in the 90’s, and that was outside influences that came in and started the problems not Vidor residents.  Most people do not know that there are many blacks that work, travel and stop in Vidor daily.  I have a friend that is a Black Deputy that works in Vidor and has worked there for years, he will tell you that he would work nowhere else but Vidor. Good Grief
Yes, last year was of great success that Coach Adkins had to have another. It’s great isn’t it?  Coach and her girls are chomping at the bit for it to get here.  Oh I forgot to mention, let your child enjoy the experience.

In all the years you have watched Vidor fans or not who, IYO, was the top 3 running backs. Mine would be: Brad Croak Theron Rynols (sp) and Brentyn Clark
These are three good RBs from the last 10 yrs but we have had a lot of strong running backs in the history of Pirate football... Rick Culbert was awesome and I heard Hagler was a beast.
That is an understatement.
He's my flipping dentist. Never saw it lol. Wish someone had some old footage of him playing. I'd love to see it.
I have some old footage; it’s all in my mind.  I can remember him just crushing the opponent defenses.  In my opinion, Hagler is the best RB in the last 30 years at Vidor.  Like WOSgrad said calling him a BEAST is an understatement.

More guys with no stickability!!!  This team is made of guys with no committment to their original choices.  Now jump on me but this is true!!
I wondered the same thing, it seems like there are a lot of players at or going to Lamar that are not sticking with their original commitments.  I’m glad we are getting some local players but it seems there is no since of real loyalty to choices.
I firmly believe that the case of Home Sickness is playing a major role with Gonzales and Sonnier transferring to Lamar. JMO
 11. [Hidden Content] 18U, 16U, 14U, 12U and 10U teams
 12.
Kaitlynn Henson of Orangefield signed with North Central Texas College. Kaitlynn is the first volleyball player in the history of the school to sign a volleyball scholarship!
Congrats to Ms. Henson, I know DAD is very Proud.  ;D
 13. Apperently so, 20-4A has three still rolling into the playoffs and they are all into the 3rd round.
