I would like to thank the GT Shockers Organization for all of the good information I've received regarding how they handle their practices and organization. Through the years I've had a lot of parents and ladies approach me with questions regarding A-Ball. I go through my mental lists of teams and coaches and I try to share any information I have to help them decide what route to take to get more involved in such an incredible sport. Any information shared is greatly appreciated. Of course, from all of the wonderful information I've received so far, is it safe to say the GT Shockers are the only ones promoting the sport and not just their teams? "Oh no she didn't!" Come on coaches, I know you have some wonderful words of wisdom to share!

How many S.E. Texas teams hold open practices? Are the practices available to assist all young ladies interested in improving their skills to hopefully play on an A-Ball team or are they mainly geared for a player trying out for a team? Do you offer open practices all of the time, or only on certain days? Where do you practice and what is your contact information?

The weather was beautiful and we were lucky to have a breeze that brought the temperature down a bit. Not only did the girls arrive to the ballpark ready for battle, they continued to push toward their goal of winning every game. Kaos put on a nice tournament. Thank you to Coach Jennifer and Coach James for keeping the girls pumped up and aggressive. WAY TO GO GIRLS!

[move][glow=red,2,300]HATS OFF TO SETX HEAT[/glow][/move] Job well done, winning third place in Tomball this weekend at the "Fury Summer Kick Off" tournament! The girls battled their way through, playing some good teams. The hosts, "The Fury" and all of the other competing teams made the tournament enjoyable. Thank you Coach Jennifer and Coach James for your dedication and hard work you give toward the SETX HEAT! ;D

Don't know about the "volatile situation" you had with the HEAT, but it was a good game, very exciting! I'm glad your player wasn't seriously hurt and recovered for Sunday.

[/glow] [/move] We have had an incredible turn out, giving us an opportunity to meet girls interested in joining the Beaumont Blast team as well as meeting players from other teams. It has been a pleasure seeing new faces and making a lot of new friends. We look forward to seeing all of the girls at future tournaments and we wish you the best.
