Well, since I’ve paid $1,842,764 on my daughter and she is only 14 years old. I would be more than glad to pay an extra $20.00 to $40.00 to watch professionals play. For me it would be more entertaining than watching a bunch of overpaid men playing in the majors.

Not to give The Cheater a big head on this, but it was a well run tournament. Thanks goes out to #1 Cheater.

Congrats to the undefeated LCM Freshman Team (5 -0). They recently played in a Round Robin Tournament in Hampshire Fannett; however, it was shortened due to Hurricane Gustav. The Lady Bears finished the tournament, winning (4 of 6 sets).The Lady Bears also played Beaumont Westbrook and won in two straight sets 25-18 and 25-23. I do not have information on the JV or Varsity games that were played at Beaumont Westbrook High School.

Just Curious, last week the tournament director or person in charge seemingly changed the playing times that were sent to teams. Upon arriving at the tournament several teams found out that their play times had been changed and did not get to play their scheduled pool games. Are the playing times that we received from our coaches the same?

Reference to the in the eteamz message board. Cheating is cheating no matter how its put. An apology is needed to the teams that were knocked out by the GCB’s for using kids that were playing in the 18U division in the same tournament. The Crush coaches do not have to explain anything to their girls for what was going on. It should be the other way around with the GCB’s explaining to their girls about cheating. It appears that they broke the rules and are blaming the Crush coaches. What kind of example are the parents and coaches setting for the youth. The weather was extremely hot, (90+) and the kids did not want to play another game that was meaningless to them.

I heard that 2 more starters for the Bears quit. One a lineman and the other a receiver. Is it true, and the names I heard were big time players. I believe the same as the others, the kids who quit are in it for themselves and not the team, however, I've never seen a program, where numerous starters over the last two years have quit. Must be a problem larger than what I'm seeing.
