I know Nederland doesn’t match very well with Texas City but playing at home will help. Knowing that they had PNG on the ropes will help them as well. I see this being a close game but big Ned should pull away with a win.

Curious, why?

I don’t think it will be close. Texas City can’t match Nederland’s physicality.

Agreed. TXC will not be able to move the ball against NED. Get the ball to #10 and #8 and get the kids to recharge thier batteries and avoid the human nature effect of a letdown that usually comes after MCM hype and NED will win by three or four TDs.

Ugly stat...Scott Rich's record after Mid County Madness 0-5 hope that changes Friday Night

Yes but different district back then.  And different TC and Dayton teams, although I still would not take them lightly.

Nederland is going to destroy both Dayton and Texas city. Maybe not high scoring, but there won’t be any doubt.

The biggest issue Ned has to fix is learning to play as a Team. To many individuals that play strictly for themselves and it shows. Players parents running their social media platforms like they are getting drafted by the Seattle Seahawks first round. Everyone knows the parents and grandparents that want to call all the shots for their babies and Coach Rich and some of the other coaches need to cut the cord and run the program with or without them. Coaches across the tracks definitely don’t play this nonsense.  For all of us that played for Coach Neumann would also agree. For the record I feel Tx City may be a true upset for this exact reason. Just my 2 Cents and I am tired of seeing our program go to crap and losing.

That's too bad, but not too uncommon from what I've heard about at least one other team in our area.  Parents able to gain access to the fence behind the bench and speak with their kids, like it was little league baseball.  Parents tell their kids one thing and the coach maybe says something else.

But anyway, the Massey 35 - 13 guess sounds as good a guess as any.

It took Neumann 5 years to basically get his program where he wanted it.  Rich has been there, what, 3 years?  Don’t you think you have to give him a chance to build his system?
