Post to the section that is most appropriate for the topic being presented. Should be noted as well. Posting personal opinions related to high school kids and their level of participation for the season does not keep to the subject of the PN-G vs Nederland football game as the thread title suggests. It is inflammatory and directed at a specific kid or kids. BBtater984 and badndn 2 Quote

It’s not sexy but they’re gonna line up and run the rock, and play solid stout fundamentally sound defense. I was impressed with them. Agree with one big exception, those PNG teams last four seasons had outstanding QBs. Oh and Jeff Joseph! 😉 png9mon 1 Quote

I think you calling out high school kids being on the sidelines as wasted spots is a little bit of a bad move when you consider that there is no roster spot limit in high school. Sounds like you have the personal agenda. Mmmm... OK? I'm not call you ng out the kids, the conversation included seeing kids in the sidelines. As far as a personal agenda, as I said, I have no dog in the hunt. If you're not a nederland fan, then why you bother commenting on this thread anyway. Got nothing better to do? Like I said, must've touched a nerve or a bad flashback with you or something. Quote

Guess those patches on those letterman jackets are crucial. One of the other players has played full time on JV and definitely isn’t good enough to play on Varsity. Just my 2 Cents Careful, aki-whatever gonna get his feelings hurt by your post LOLOLOL Quote

Why suit up if you aren’t going to play?? If you want to be on the sideline then hold a first down marker, run across the field with one of the flags that spells DOGS and I would pick the letter S for a certain reason. If you play every week in the JV game you aren’t allowed to play on Friday night. Must be a faculty members son that has earned the gold jersey to be on the sideline. Just my observation! What happened to earning your spot on a roster?? DoggStyle 1 Quote

1970 Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago IDK who should be on the sidelines and who shouldn't, but when my grandson broke his arm a few years ago he was on the sidelines in street clothes, except for the state game in Dallas, when he got permission to suit up. Quote

If a current player has been injured then absolutely they should be on the sideline. I’m referring to the players that have been on the sideline that were injured years ago but somehow can play other sports. DoggStyle 1 Quote
