Congratulations to PNG another undefeated district championship. Nederland leads to win the next 2 to come in 2nd. The problem will be next week because they never play good against Texas City

The Bulldogs played really well. They just have not had a decent secondary and QB in a long time. The other glaring weakness is the special teams.

On the final play they had no or little pursuit.  Maybe the legs were just given out, IDK.  Anyway, good game.

Game felt like Heavy Weight boxing match… I’m sure Big Ned opened eyes tonight going toe to toe

Ned front 7 is legit. In the end PNG coaches just put the ball in the hands of its best player and it paid off. And props to the PNG defense for giving up only 7 points over most of the last three quarters.

If they win out, they could have a rematch of Crawford. Crawford's only loss so far. They do have FB Marshel next week

Best Nederland team I've seen in a long time MCM # 2 a real possibility I think, Does anyone know if this is the first time that they have played an Overtime MCM.

That front 7 is legit.. I talked it up before the week. But PNG coaches did what everyone in the stadium knew was going to happen. Jude is the best player in the district hands down..

I thought the officials did a good job. I am not to sure that Nederland’s secondary made a tackle during the entire game. It’s shame because the DL is pretty good and the LB’ers are better than they have been. PNG’s QB is good and the defense played good in the 2nd half and their secondary will tackle

The officials did good job tonight. Only thing I question was the illegal substitution call when Nederland called a TO… other than that Nederland has to clean up the penalties…

That was about the 4th time Nederland had broke the huddle with 12 kids. Damage was already done. TO came after the fact.

Kudos to Nederland's student section for picking up the Indians students during the national anthem when there was a technical problem with the Microphone.
