Nederland seems to have a PAT problem…

More like a wind problem, it’s blowing in from that end.  It’s messing with the passing game too.

But when your defense has given up about 40 yards in 3 quarters……. 😎

Yeah they are playing real tough tonight.  They have been sloppy on offense until this last couple of series.

Could the early 2000s Dogs be making a comeback??

We will see, defensive backups  looking pretty good too.

Nice win Bulldogs. The defense played really good tonight and a couple of nice running backs. The receivers are catching the ball much better this season

negatives - kicker and punter had bad nights. Still too many penalties and the Bulldogs still have too many players running their mouth

next week may possibly be for district championship. The Dogs will have too throw the ball better than tonight

Great Job Big Ned pretty big to give up 0 points in a district game… total of 13 points in 3 district games is a great salty D! Defense on giving up an average of 4.3 points per district game, 3-0 in district nuff said. Go Dogs!

The wind was swirling with the front blowing through the kicking game was ok as long as they were going towards the west end zone.

I think with that win tonight should clinch a playoff birth for Nederland… tbh I think all playoff teams are set now just still working on the order but playoff teams clinched are… Nederland, PNG, Texas City and Dayton. Maybe someone can correct me if I’m wrong on it..

You are correct, just hope Nederland and PNG finish 1st and 2nd. Nederland’s place will depend on how they do against Dayton and Texas City

PNG will finish either 6-0 or 5-1  1st or 2nd  Nederland?

GP - 0-6

Lee and Santa Fe, 1 will be 1-5 and the other 2-4

I miss the days of the old 4A, I feel like you earned it back then. Not saying they aren't now but Vidor, central, PNG games were always contests. The district with FB Marshall, Lake Creek was tough, but it never felt like a "home" district from the 409.

Those were fun days… I miss when there was 2 4A districts in SETX… now mid county schools and Dayton are on an island over here grouped with the Houston schools.

Believe it or not no there's a slim chance Lee could get in if they beat Santa Fe PN-G and Texas City the odds of that happening though is close to 0

Congratulations Dogs.  You guys have announced your authority.  Coach Spell is sitting up in the stands with a big smile on his face.  It’s been a long road and now you’re back.

From 88-03 district 20-4A was a beast for golden triangle teams. We had some serious games back then

I’m not certain on how good Nederland or PNG is, this may be one of the worst districts they have been in. These teams have been bad! Next week will be the only hard game they have in district play. Good luck and hopefully injury free to both teams.
