Fort Bend Crawford at #2 in 5A D2 is probably about right at this time in the season. You could tell they had played together for the last 3 years, and had senior leadership. I expect to see them and PNG in the R3 Finals against each other in a rematch of their upcoming predistrict game.

Deer Park at #31 in 6A. After their impressive Week 1 35-0 shutout of Pearland Dawson in Pearland, I think they have--probably--one of their best teams in years. They should definitely challenge Dickinson for the DC. We'll see what happens this week in the Border Battle.

La Porte will have played two impressive clubs to get ready for district play.
