Lamar Football 2026

For the SFA game I know I’m looking far ahead… but I hope Lamar and Neches FCU can offer 1$ admission or something. The football teams needs your support and have that place packed with a sea of Red.. that game is looking like it will be for the SLC…. Just throwing it out there so hopefully the powers that be can make it happen lol. 
 

does anyone remember the 50 cent beer games at the baseball park or at the basketball games? Bring that back too lol

I have 4 season tickets but for that game I will be purchasing an additional 8 for my daughter, grandsons and their friends.

Lamar ranked #10 this week in the Stats Perform FCS poll and #8 in the coaches poll.

SFA ranked #3 in both.

SLU eats up most of 3rd quarter and scores again leading Lamar 28-13 with 5:46 in 3rd quarter

Big game this week.  LU will host HCU.

The teams are tied in a 2-way for 2nd in conference with a 3-1 record.  They have 3 common opponents. Both have a victory over Nichols. LU soundly beat them and HCU has a somewhat tight game with a 16-2 victory.  They have also played UIW and SELA.  All games were close with each picking up a win and suffering a loss to opposite squads. LU's victory was over UIW and HCU opened conference and the season with a road victory over Southeastern. 

Lamar will be in good position for a post-season birth with a victory, but a loss could be a major barrier with SFA still to play. The conference is vastly improved from just a few years ago and there are very few sure victories as well. 

Plan to attend this week.

It's Homecoming and I will be there (because my wife said so).

I hear Lamar has received a waiver from the NCAA and the SLC for an extended half-time to accommodate the planned ceremony.
