This is REALLY SCARY, and should concern everyone. If the AI companies control all the knowledge, and then destroy the actual books where you can’t dispute their scans & possible adaptations…

This is the same Anthropic that thought the government using their AI was too dangerous. Apparently, it’s okay for them to control all knowledge, and a Federal Judge just ruled they can’t be arbitrarily placed on a ‘naughty list.’

I guess I'm more worried about the AI companies controlling all knowledge & information than I am a Terminator scenario. We can see what the media can do by manipulating information right now. I can only imagine if all information and data can be manipulated and controlled by AI firms. That's why destroying the books after them being scanned bothered me so much.

Anthropic was the firm the Pentagon decided not to do business with. The fact that one of their employees is saying this does make it a bit scary. As for having all the info, how long before they solve the launch codes (War Games….WOPR)
