lionpride08 Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 If you know how everything looks and is shaping up please post here for others to see. No matter the division. Please add if they are going D1 or D2 as of right now. District 18 1. Groesbeck D1 2. Buffalo D2 3. Teague D2 4. Fairfield D1 5. Elkhart 6. Westwood/Mexia Alot for this district comes down to Elkhart and what they can do to make that final spot. District 19 1. Franklin D2 9-0 2. Little River Academy D1 7-2 3. Rockdale D1 4-3 4. Thrall D2 3-4 5. Rogers 3-4 6. Cameron 2-7 7. Lexington 0-7 This district has a ton of shuffling that could happen with places 3,4, and 5. Seeding will depend on which teams make the playoffs with Rockdale being bigger then both Thrall and Rogers. Quote

lionpride08 Posted Monday at 02:27 PM Author Report Posted Monday at 02:27 PM Franklin 12-0 BYE LRA 6-4 vs Thrall 5-5 Rogers 5-5 vs Rockdale 5-5 Cameron 2-8 vs Lexington 0-10 (both teams have been eliminated for playoffs) LRA has to win one game to clinch a playoff spot. Rogers will clinch with sweep Rockdale will clinch with sweep Thrall needs to win one game and have either Rogers or Rockdale sweep. If all three tie at 6-6 I'm not sure how they will work it out. Rockdale is the key team to decide if Franklin goes D1 or D2 Quote

My K-Ville Dad contact doesn't know what he's talking about Big School 1. OF 2. Ec Small School Kirbyville swept Buna so they should go as 1 seed with no seeding game needed. Quote

I think you have to take EC out of the equation, since they go big school. Then you have to go head to head, which would go to Kville.... You see it the same way I do. Quote

Not sure how the tiebreakers will work, but there’s a 3 way tie and it doesn’t matter who swept who as long as one team did not sweep both of the others. They have not announced as of yet if it will be played out or decided another way. Quote

Buna will play EC. Loser is 4. Winner plays K-Ville for the 2 seed on Saturday The 3 way tie doesn't really matter with the split divisions though. OF and EC spots are set going Big School. The only tie to break is small school which K-Ville swept. Quote

Playing these extra games makes zero sense with the split divisions which IMO is not needed in any sport other than football and certainly not needed after district play is done. Quote
myrecordwashorrible Posted 10 minutes ago Report Posted 10 minutes ago East Chambers is not involved in any district seeing games. I have no idea on Buna and Kirbyville nor how the district tiebreaker rule reads. A tiebreaker game between the 2 would keep each from trying to find a playoff warm up game if each wants one. Could even play each other if the seeding is already determined. Some districts are still playing this Friday, so warm-up game opponents may be difficult to find. Quote
