He’s a semi-successful developer who thought he could “fix” the Middle East by dropping a bunch of bombs on Iran. Now the Hormuz is blocked and Trumps went all in on a bluff. Iran called his bluff, now he’s stuck.
 

Also noticed that we’re going to bail out the UAE for losses they’ve sustained because of our foray into Iran. America first!

I read a long article today that claimed that we keep negotiating deals, then trump goes on social media and blows them up. Like… we all agree to “no enrichment for five years” and call a ceasefire, then trump hops on his fake twitter and posts “no, enrichment, ever! We beat them!” and then Iran is like “well, then… I guess we don’t have a deal.”  
 

That’s why they no-showed the negotiations today… they’ve agreed to things, then Trump pops up denying them things that were agreed upon in the negotiations.  Trump is more worried about the battle for public approval than for ending the battle in Iran.  
 

“The Hormuz is open… but we’re still going to blockade Iran’s ports.” “Then I guess the Hormuz isn’t open then, is it, Fatso?” And they start shooting at ships again.

Agreed… no failure on the part of the troops. They were sent into battle without a decent plan.

Trump seized that Iranian ship on Sunday, so Iran seized two ships today. So much for “their navy is at the bottom of the ocean.”  
 

Trump keeps telling his alternate versions of reality, his boot lickers keep lapping it all up, then Iran just demonstrates that Trump is lying, just like always.  
 

Theres nothing that a narcissist like Trump hates more than being exposed as the liar that they are.  Iran is going to get tired of winning.

If you weren’t committed enough to send ground troops, you weren’t committed enough to the purpose to start the conflict.

Issue is, POTUS knew he wouldn't get public, or Congressional support for ground troops. So, he tried an end-around. Without public support, success will be hard to achieve. Success in this endeavor required eliminating the IRGC, and affecting regime/cultural change.

I keep repeating myself there's a reason why conflicts are supposed to be difficult to start.
