The Irishstar is a left-leaning political hack website.  I looked at it.  Not one thing positive was stated about any Republican.  So, not true!

I recently saw a CNN poll, or it was on CNN, that showed Trump having 100% MAGA support.  So...

Mann u know that's a lie! I saw a poll and it was a high percent but 100%.. u maga cult ppl lie alot

I accept your apology!  I do not intentionally lie.  We don't need to!

This question may have already been asked.  Really don’t want to back through 9 pages to find out.  Why are democrats against using a photo ID to vote?  I know why, just want to see if any liberal here wants to tell the truth about why.  Probably not!

Do you ever get tired of reading conspiracy theories?

What you saw was not someone's conspiracy theory.  Grok is X's AI program.  You ask for the info you need and in seconds it populates the answer.  Throughout you'll see where it got the certain bits of info from.  So, go back and read it.  Gen. Flynn, just like Roger Stone, was set up to try and make him turn on Trump.  When he didn't, they prosecuted him.  Again, just like Roger Stone.

From what I’ve read they believe it’s voter suppression. Lol

Shows how stupid they are.  Or, they are for illegal aliens being allowed to vote.  Pretty sure it’s both.

Ok… just briefly describe the difference between requiring voter ID vs requiring proof of citizenship… in the manner that the SAVE Act would require.

Because I bet you don’t know the difference.

I would assume, maybe incorrectly, that one cannot possess a valid ID without showing proof of citizenship in order to get said valid ID.  What is the difference?

No worries… voter ID is where you have to provide a photo id when you turn up to vote. A great idea in my opinion.

Proof of citizenship is different. It’s where you have to prove your citizenship in order to register to vote. As a guy, you’d need a birth certificate and your ID, and the names have to match. You can use a passport instead of the birth certificate. As a female whose name on their ID doesn’t match the one on their birth certificate or passport, you’d have to document why… certified copy of your marriage license, possibly divorces, etc…. Certified copies from the bureau of vital statistics, county clerk and/or district clerk. Getting a birth certificate isn’t a big deal if you live in the state where you were born, it’s just time off from work, a trip to the courthouse, and a few bucks.

Voter ID means you have to prove that you’re who you say you are on voting day. Proof of Citizenship means you have to prove when/where you were born, how/why your name may have changed along the way, and/or how you became a naturalized American citizen.

Here’s the editorial part from me: The problem is that 11.3 million Texans voted in 2024. The republicans investigated a found 33 instances where non-citizens possibly voted, and they’re investigating.  I’m not a wealthy person, but I’m not going to sweat over $33 dollars that I lost. If I had 11.3 million in the bank, why would I be losing my mind over a missing $33? This whole exercise makes no sense… in my mind, it’s not about voting integrity, it’s about making it harder for some groups of people who don’t typically support Trump (women and poor people) to vote.
