He doesn’t understand why Trump went after Venezuela a couple of weeks before Iran. He did this to have access to oil knowing there maybe a drop in oil supply because of the attack.

Yes, it would have been better for Iran to become a communist nation. It’s where they were heading. The Iranian people actually overthrew Mosaddegh. We had already sacrificed fighting against the spread of communism in Korea.

All throughout history, countries have influenced/controlled other countries for their own personal gain/survival. It was said that the sun never set on the British Empire. So what? It’s the way it was and nothing will ever change that. The thing is, we can sit here and complain about all the things our country has done, whether good or bad, but in the end, everything that has happened has provided us with the best country the world has ever seen. It’s hard for me to throw stones while I am living the life of Riley. Nothing nor no one is perfect, but everything that has been done is over, and it assured us of having standards for living. 
The biggest threat to our country is China and Russia,  both communist regimes. Next was the terrorist nation of Iran. That threat is being eliminated as we speak. Whether we agree with it or not, I believe our future generations will be able to survive and prosper because of this. I’m sure the future will have those who will complain about how it was done. Heck, they are living here now.

Next, we have to remove the radical muslims from our country. Yes, already on our soil.

I respect your opinion but I am just trying to understand the return on investment for the American taxpayer after the U.S. has borrowed over 8 trillion dollars to fight 2 wars and lost over 7,000 Soldiers in the Middle East since 2001 Afghanistan and Iraq. 
 

Maybe this operation will bear fruit but that’s yet to be seen. I just hope the new leadership in Iran is not worse than what we took out. They do not value life like Americans do.

I don’t expect everyone to agree with my opinions…..never have, never will. Wars are terrible and everyone agrees with that. Where we sometimes find disagreement is that wars are needed. Diplomacy is great if both sides truly listen. Terrorists, hell bent on our death and destruction, cannot be bargained with or bought. As for the military industrial complex, I think it has kept us from speaking German, Japanese, or not existing at all. The MIC is an expensive necessity.

Even the democrats know Iran can’t possess a nuke. They were close to having a missile with the technology to deliver one. Apparently our efforts to take away their nuclear capabilities fell short. Regime change and total obliteration of their military should last a long time. Nothing in life is certain, except death and taxes.
