This situation wasn’t even an assist. Israel wasn’t involved in any negotiations, and the attack on the Iranian complex where the leaders were meeting was an Israeli op.

As I said, the policy applies to direct employees of the Executive Branch. There are various entities and personnel that aren’t direct employees of the Executive Branch.

Iran isn’t going down without a fight. They’re attacking infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, Pakistanis are attacking our consulate there, and Russia says that the US just “untied their hands.”  Theres never been a better time for China to take Taiwan while we’re getting hung up in the Middle East. We can beat anybody.  We can’t beat everybody.  And one thing is for certain… we’re going to pay a price, and it won’t be limited to three unfortunate servicemen.

I don’t know if it’s illegal or not. We helped Israel kill an 86 year old man. The regime is still in place. What Trump does next, if the regime does not change, is the $64,000 question.  Ready to spend another 10+ years in another quagmire? Or is it better to totally destabilize the entire Middle East by blowing it up and then stepping back?

Prayers - two of my good friends lost their kids, one was 19 and the other was 30.  As I told them, I can’t imagine what you went through, I am truly sorry for your loss.

If only the people who seem to care so much about these 3 men, Lord be with their families, would be more thankful on Memorial Day in remembrance of the men who saved the world from Hitler. I think about that all the time. We wouldn’t even be here.
