Baddog glad to see Javier finally have a good game. I know it is rare for him to pitch good but glad he did

He had Tommy-John surgery and he was our star pitcher during a WS championship. He’s like any pitcher and could use some run support., but when he pitches like this, it makes the wins much easier.

Bad loss tonight, but maintain a 3 game lead.

Very tough loss but wake up tomorrow maybe.   Altuve and Alvarez in big slump.  Alvarez still hitting just not dingers.  I liked it when they walked him to get to Paredes.  That didn't work and that is when I thought we had it.

Actually we 4 up because we hold the tiebreaker.  If you want to look at it that way.

Not meant to be, 3-2 setback just no hitting today except Alcarez Number 38 dinger.  I think but not sure that Altuve got his 2500th hit.  I'm sure I'll be corrected.

Pitching by Lambert improved after their first 2 runs

Altuve entered today 4 hits shy of 2500 and picked up 3.  Will likely get it on the upcoming road trip. 

Up and down season to say the least. Was hoping for a solid 4 game lead after the eeekend and now likely will be a 2 game lead.

It is certainly an up and down season. For some reason when they pitch good, they don’t hit and when they hit, they struggle on the mound. They are having a hard time putting it all together

Luckily they are probably in the weakest division in the major leagues

Well it's crunch time,  Of course I will be pulling for the Stros but I will also pull for the Mariners to a point.  However we need to take care of business and win for ourselves.  Next 3 days could be reall interesting.  So go Stros

What a scary win Bullpen made it soooo interestin/scary 3 dingers Wesneski 5-1 Hader 24/24 saves.  Altuve still waiting for 2500  Maybe tomorrow

Blubaugh is usually effective, not tonight. Hung on for the much needed win. Looked like a Bridge City man pitched some in relief for the Phillies

Yeah Blubaugh has been great lately.  So I can’t be too mad.  This is a great Phillies team though.   Peña’s great play and Marshes base running era may have saved the game.  Hader finally gave up a run but the Stros hung on.  Yordan needs to get rolling.  I like how the Astros get up when they play good teams.

I thought they sent King to AAA. What is he doing back up and why are they pitching him. He didn’t even record an out and Blubaugh’s 2nd bad night in a row.

We lose by a Grand slam.  King's fault and others.  11-7.  Rangers lose

Altuve with his 2500th career hit.  Awesome.  A littlr bit of comedy and errors.

Okert went on IL on the 4th.  Recalled King that day.

Altuve became the 5th middle infielder to have 2500 hits. The other 4 are in the Hall of Fame.
