Seems like the last few games we have started out behind and caught up or went ahead. No 8 game series streak. Series wins are great. However, a string of 10 wins would be nice. rupert3 1 Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted July 2 Report Posted July 2 I just want .500 by All Star break. Current record is 43-46. Nine games remaining before break. Last 3 are against division leader Arlington. 6-3 will put us at .500. It's doable. baddog and rupert3 2 Quote

Having to pitch to Alvarez is usually bad for the other team. lol rupert3 1 Quote
rupert3 Posted July 5 Report Posted July 5 Well 4 hit 2-0 shutout Lambert win Hader save no 9 Paredes and Walker Dingers for the total. I'll take it baddog and myrecordwashorrible 2 Quote

rupert3 Posted July 7 Report Posted July 7 Probably what we get for messing with the lineup all the time. I though Allen was playing SS quite well. In prior games. Quote

spidersal Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago Astros will continue to struggle if they keep putting King in. I said it last year and I will say it again, he has no business being in the majors Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Peña & Alvarez both went 2-3, 2 BB, reached base in 8 of 10 PA. Rest of team collected 2 hits, 5 walks. Astros lose 3-2 with 11 LOB & 1-7 w/ RISP. Paredes & Walker had 9 AB with runners on base, including 1 AB each with the bases loaded. Paredes 1-3, K, BB, SF & Walker 0-4, 3 K, HBP. Oh, and Bryan King allowed a soul-crushing 8th inning HR in his 3rd straight game. The Rays, Yankees, White Sox, Guardians, Rangers, Twins, Red Sox, Mariners and now Orioles have a better record than the Astros. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Last night in the A.L. West Rangers gave up 2 RBI single to Braves pitcher, lost 15-1 Mariners got 2-hit by Giants, lost 7-0 Astros gave up 2-run HR in 8th to O's, lost 3-2 Athletics allowed 21 hits & 23 runs to Nats, lost 23-4 Angels led 1-0 after 1st & after 8th, lost to Tigers, 2-1 Quote
rupert3 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Almost desparation time . I say try some minor leagers in the bullpen. What else could happen? Quote

Not quite time to panic yet. Houston is 3 games back of first in division and 2.5 back of final wild card spot with 63 games remaining. Still have time to make a run. rupert3 1 Quote
