mfd814 Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 Not kidding. Just blatant. Awful. I’ve seen “bad calls”. But just blatant disregard. Hats off to the HJ staff and players for keeping their cool in this one. Quote
Football_Fan11 Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 If that is Bay Area they are the absolute worst. I’ve seen some crazy stuff watching games officiated by those guys. Quote
Eagles12 Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 HJ did get a huge break in OT from refs. Had 6 on the floor with the ball in play and a tech wasn’t called. Quote

But.. sometimes there can be vastly different foul counts based on extreme differences in style of play. Also, when a team is a "behind" situation late in a game, they will amass more fouls to intentionally force free throws. Is it possible that this, or a combination of this was going on? Simply stating foul count differences doesn't always prove evidence of bad officiating. Even though it should be understood that officiating has gotten poorer over the years, across the board, for several reasons. Quote

There wasn't. I watched the entire game. Yes, HJ was called for more fouls but I can honestly say I didn't see that wide a spread in foul count. But I wasn't counting. HJ was definitely the more aggressive defensive team. Huffman definitely went to the FT line more than HJ. I was very surprised that the count was that lopsided. Just didn't seem like it was while watching. bullets13 1 Quote
