LU opens conference with a 6-2 win. Well played ball game. New beer garden set up down left field line.  That's an FYI for those that might enjoy.

LU stater, Olivier, went 7 innings of no hit ball with 11 K's. Pitch count up a bit (101) and Cards put in a reliever to start the 8th.  Mighty impressive outing. Cards lead 1-0.

Birds win 1-0. Got out of a baseball loaded jam in the 8th with a double play.  Tight game that lasted only a little over 2 hours.  Fairly well attended game.

Lamar sweeps UTRGV winning 2-1 in 10 innings despite committing three errors.

Rice defeats Lamar 4-1.  LU offense has been struggling this season.  At SFA this weekend.

Let's play 2.  LU series at SFA has shifted to a double header today and a single game Saturday.

LU drops game 1 against SFA, 6-4.  Finally have an offensive explosion and put up 11 runs to win game 2 with an 11-3 final.  Have a 4-1 conference record.

Today's finale of the SFA series has been pushed back to tomorrow.  

The SLC baseball portion of the conference website is terrible, no hyperbole. Each week the conference standings are wrong. Bad wrong. 

Today, it has SFA and Lamar's records reversed. HCU and McNeese are playing game 3 of their series right now, yet the website has each with 6 conference games already played.  I could go on....
