The records of their pre-district opponents: 10-3, 11-1, 11-2, and 5-6. Goliad, Woodlands Christian, and Ganado are all very good teams. They’ve pulled off 3 arguably upset wins against really good teams in the playoffs. Poth and Lexington are very good teams, and I don’t know if I’ve ever heard of a team avenging a 53-point loss in a playoff rematch, but their upset of Tidehaven was something special. Newton may have their hands full this week. Quote
