Oh there will be numerous coaches near and far to apply for this job.
It’s gonna take a special person to come in and turn it around.

Will the powers that be make the right choice this time or not.

The right person’s season ended Friday night after an incredible playoff run. Without a shadow of a doubt, he is the right man for this job. It’s time to bring in a "hometown" guy who genuinely will care for and love the kids, and who will get those who quit back on the field

Did he find out if the school is actually considering someone local for the position? And did he say what the next step is after Friday’s game?

I’m not sure what will happen, I was just sharing my opinion on who the "right guy" is. Who knows what they’ll do, but I’m sure he’ll stay where he’s at. Still, I’d be trying HARD to get him if they want to get the program back on the right track.

The right guy can't have connections to Hemphill...then you'll be complaining about how they know nothing about winning. Last 25 years have been VERY average at best.

Wonder who that might be.
Hemphill graduate, former hornet coach that moved up the road a little way?
Curious minds want to know.
