The best Freshman on that team was Harding the RB he just got offered by Sac St. 

That freshman team was loaded at WR and RB.  The Qb was just a game manager. 

He left because the starting QB has two yrs left.  

In 26 he will be United QB for two seasons.

QB was more than a game manager and looked good enough to be the varsity QB last year as a freshman

Anderson and this kid named Nonette that is in the 8th grade now, would've kept him off the field at WB.  

Anderson is number 2 dual threat in the state class of 27 and Nonette will be the best QB at WB since Ambres. 

He left because United don't have nothing like that in the pipeline.  Good luck to him.  He can play.  But WB has bonafide D1 players at the Position

Not sure, but they appeared to get things tohether towards the end of last year. If they can keep that going plus get the younger kids up to varsity speed, I could see them as the dark horse for sure.

For the Titans it's plus 13 over Spring Dekaney currently, I say currently because I've seen point spreads change periodically before a game.

IMO, no.  The team was 6-3 when he started.  The only game that was bad from start to finish was GBall.  He should be given another shot to start but that's just me

YES X1000!! avg 2-3 turnovers a game avg 2-4passes completed out of 10-15 attempts. taking unnecessary sacks. you will have people tell you he was "hurt". you someone said they were 6-3 with him starting.the defense saved half those wins. Dekaney it was the defense that saved the game. Legacy was almost lost due to turnovers. Thank God last year the QB was the team over there. Hightower well was Hightower ad expect nothing different this year. Cleburne my grandma would have thrown for 350 and no pics with 5 td's and shes dead! BU haltime it was tied 0-0 if im not mistaken and BU imploded mainly our DEFENSE. He got exposed against real talent with BALL, BH, and Lufkin. Tell ya what. i'm sure ALL the games are on the net. See for yourself. pack him up!!!  it's a reason they changed to martin to stop the bleeding. i'm afraid thats all it did. been watching practice and nobody is completing a ton of passes. under and over thrown ducks. hopefully they get it figured out in two weeks.

So um.... how's everyone feeling so far??

Top four are going to be PAM, Lufkin, BH and West Brook.  Will be interesting to see who improves the most over the next few weeks.

I think all have shown reason why they could win the district as well as finish 4th.  Lets see who continues to improve and how injuries will start to play a big part.

Feeling fine so far. Feel like the area's of Lufkin's inexperience and youth will all be playing well by district. Pleased with the depth this team has, especially on offense.  Varsity is dressing out 64 players, that includes 9 sophomores and a freshmen. Abseck said he would play the best talent he had regardless of the classification, and so far that has been his path. The implementing of the new defensive and offensive schemes have steadily improved each game. Lufkin learned much in the Longview game, there is not a single team in 9-5A that compares to them, maybe not in all Region III. They are a tough 6A out at their home field, don't let the 41-16 score fool you,  it was 28-16 when they scored two TD in the last 3 minutes of the 4th quarter, no running the clock in Longview.

No doubt in my mind this district race has some parity and will be highly competitive between those the top four mentioned, even Ball, we can't leave them out. Thankful to have BWB, PAM and Ball games in Lufkin this year.
