GE is multi-faceted. They are into oil and gas too. I did not know China bought the appliance division. I have a GE mini fridge that is 30 years old and still running strong. Keeps my drinks nice and cold.

Yes. Chinese owned company bought the appliance division right before we bought our new fridge when our old Sears (Whirlpool) bit the dust after 25+ years. Didn’t know it at the time. They kept it pretty quiet & didn’t find out until I needed to use warranty.

Still good to have jobs return. But, this one’s not earth shattering. Sounds like they’re just moving back in. Headquarters & manufacturing were always in Kentucky.
