Pretty easy call.

The head coach with the longest tenure at one school currently is Kevin Foster at Big Sandy.

I would say Joubert at Kountze and English at Nederland would be the next two.

Is Lester King still at Goodrich?  That's gotta be quite a run.

You know what? I completely forgot about Coach King.

Goodrich is still in our coverage area and he is definitely the longest tenured coach in our area.

I'm thinking it's every bit of 35+ years now.

I figured it had been a long time if he was still there.  I don't follow them much since their talent ran dry.. but he definitely had some quality teams at one time.  I won't even pretend to say I know anything about Goodrich basketball but I remember some state titles.

According to Wikipedia, championship in 01.  Finals in 98, 02, and 08.

That's respectable on any measure.
