Maybe they was thinking about traffic on 59 on a Thursday afternoon vs traffic on 10 to 73 on a Thursday afternoon.  East Chambers would've been closer but I think HJ already playing there Thursday.

Also, these are not specific matchups, but updates on why more 21-5A vs. 22-5A bi-district matchups.

The 1-3 seeds have yet to be determined and will be finalized after the Manvel/La Porte game being played tomorrow.

 

21-5A vs. 22-5A Matchups if La Porte wins

Beaumont United vs. Baytown Sterling (already set for Thursday)

Barbers Hill vs. Friendswood

Crosby vs. Manvel

Nederland vs. La Porte

Wow that doesn't seem right..RSS with a hour drive and United with a 15 min drive

 

Honestly though as a first seed why dont you get to host?

1st and 2nd seeds should host at home.

That would be a cool thing, but the 1st seed host playoff game only applies to football and not basketball...

Ok.  Got confirmation.  The game will be at PA Memorial HS at 7.  Apparently, Sterling and BU flipped for the site and Sterling lost, which is why the game is so close to BU...
