Jasper - Week 1

Now that the game at LCM has been cancelled, Jasper is looking for an opponent for this week if conditions are good enough to play. Newton would have been perfect, but I guess they've got Ozen on the schedule in Jasper on Saturday. Who else is a possibility?

I wish we could have played this game. But a lot of the Little Cypress is flooding.

I do too. It's tough to watch everything that's going on there from afar and I'm praying that things get better sooner than later. Good luck to the Battlin' Bears!

Their game with PN-G is still on for Saturday at 2pm at Tiger Stadium. Not sure playing at Silsbee is a good thing for that field. Could be moved or I still say could/should be canceled.

That field would take a lot more of a beating than it already has with all of that rain and the groundskeepers would have to nurse it for weeks. I'm so glad that Jasper put turf in at the new stadium.
