I believe its actually ten business days to respond to FOI's so ISD's can really drag their feet.....

Also keep in mind to get around FOI's, the districts will use other ways to reach out to candidates, most guys get contacted "unofficially" and they don't actually fill out an application until very late in the process...

And sending a resume and a letter of interest to the Superintendent does not constitute applying. When a FOI request is made the district can choose to exclude all interested individuals who have not officially applied.

Board meeting the 20th to approve the hire I would think. The new coach will know by friday.

I figured they would move fast.  I'm glad its not going to drag out to give the new coach time to start spring training stuff and install whatever he needs to install as far as a system.

It's still early.  One makes mistakes if one moves too fast!  Take your time and do the right thing!

Like I said, the interview process probably started as soon as Neumann announced his retirement, not when it went into effect, which would be almost a month ago now.

The Feb 20th school board meeting has nothing to do with the AD position.  It states what is on the Agenda and it is just one item...Nothing to do with the AD...The AD position is still tight lipped...No news outta Nederland...Most teachers and administrators had meetings yesterday...I would think by next week some info may begin to hit the surface...

Unless things changed, the job was posted on the NISD website and region 5 only... there is an agenda by several board members, will be interesting to see if they can swing it.

Interesting!  Agenda's have a way of going wrong in the end.  I hope there is a majority on the board interested in doing the right thing!

    • No chance in hell that this pos is found guilty.
    • After his silly conviction, President Trump has raised over 200 Million dollars!  The people are seeing through it!  Excellent!
    • Let’s see if joe biden’s words about no one is above the law, made after the rigged trial of President Trump, rings true with his po💩son.  Hopefully, but I’m not going to hold my breath, they put the sorry sob in prison.
    • I liked his no bull crap attitude. He was a man of very few words. Extremely strong and freaky athletic!!! As close as possible to being the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. I hope his family finds peace without him!!! RIP #73
    • Chester, a small town in NE Tyler County.  A town that is seeing growth with the addition of a national chain store and a new school being built.  If you travel 287 toward Dallas from the Golden Triangle you have probably passed through Chester.  Things tend to stay pretty consistent and it is your typical small town.   A trip to state is the buzz around town, and the talk before church services begin on Sunday.  This year’s graduating class will number 11.  We don’t have a radio station that covers the Yellowjackets.  We are never a lead story on any of the news stations that broadcast to our community. With all that said, there is a closeness and sense of pride in our community.  Every community rallies behind their kids as they progress into the playoffs.  We are proud of our boys as they have represented our community well and with class. We invite you to follow our boys as they go to state.  We welcome the greater SETX communities as honorary Yellowjackets.  Tune in, watch live or come to Round Rock personally and join us in supporting the Chester Yellowjackets.  Go ‘Jackets!!! ⚾️💜💛⚾️🟣🟡⚾️💜💛⚾️
