My memory is real good & I recall the past 3 yrs Crosby/Dayt there was alot of peeps sittin on their hands till late in 4th qtr

Isn't that the way it should be i a rivalry game who wants a Blowout. Hope it's as close as it's been the last three years that's what makes it fun.

Good luck to everyone Thursday and Friday.  I hope all the kids play hard and everyone stay healthy.  Good luck Crosby and congrats on your recent success.  In Dayton we expect more because we have tradition here.  Its awesome that the Crosby fans have something more to cheer about besides crawfish shack and rowdy bucks.  The years to come are going to be bad for you guys.  The JV that's coming behind this group is unbelievable.  They can air it out and the running back they are supposed to have is on varsity along with 2 offensive lineman.  4 really good receivers.  One of the receivers has really good foot work and great hands and the other is a 6'7 monster who is athletic.  a really good defense led by pike and the gang.  You clowns get ready.  see ya soon coogs

Breaking News  the Dayton JV AKA The Greatest Show on Turf  has been added to 21 5A as a tenth team.  5A State Title game will be replaced by Dayton Varsity vs Dayton JV.  Many billing as the Game of the Century.

Its not there yet but it will be soon.  Very creative.  It will all be settled.

So wait, we'll have a qb that will be one of the tops in the state, about six more D1's, will be huge on the LOS with speed to burn. Not to mention what seems to be a constant influx of transfers like kids from Manvel, SC and SA Roosevelt this year alone. Not to mention that jv team already lost to Crosby last year as freshman as well as the year before they were crushed. If the jv group is that good why aren't they on varsity? In the years to come Crosby's enrollment will push towards 1,900-2,000 while Dayton stagnates around 1,500. We already had better athletes and every year we get more to choose from.   

How do you expect more because you have tradition, y'all were good from 2007-2011? You only got passed the second round twice before that in '98 and '61 and haven't been passed it since then?

You keep mentioning all these D1 players but can't get passed the 2nd round.  So, it's best to say Crosby State Champs or bust this year right.

Yes it is true Crosby has several Players committed to Division 1 Football programs, is it not OK to give these young men who work their tails off CREDIT for their Accomplishments?  Stay Classy dayton.

Why are the accomplishments of Crosby players (who should have their accomplishments noted) being discussed in a game thread that does not involve Crosby?
