You mean like Arizona's first-year coach taking his team to the CWS finals this year?  I'm not saying that's where we'll end up next year, but you can rebuild a collegiate baseball team a lot faster than you can a football team.

And you never have to rebuild at Texas.  Just reload.  I mean, I know it's been a whole 2 years since we made our 35th CWS appearance (double digits more than ANYONE else).  Apparently the fences are coming in as well.  Expect the sluggers to follow.   The Disch's cavernous layout hasn't helped us in that regard.
