I think fair housing is a good law. If you want to move anywhere you want and can afford it, go for it.  I live in a 1700 SQ FT house.....I am not complaining that I can't live in a 5000 SQ FT house in Stone Gate......I could not afford that house and do all the things I like to do.....

​They have affordable housing apartments in Lumberton, you are just not going to find them anywhere they will decrease home owners property value.....

You will also not find a trailer park in an area that will decrease property values.....

Silsbee recently tried to get approval to build low income (affordable) housing in an area that would have been to close to upper middle class housing - myself along with many others in the community, particularly near by neighborhoods protested at a town hall meeting - it's efforts FAILED! If that's what is considered integration, I'm against it! AS it is, my neighborhood has blacks and whites...ALL affording the same value housing.

Its not always about black and white.  I ve seen what govt housing turns into more times than not whether it be in the west side, east side, north side, south side, southeast side, etc.

the less you have to work for something the less likely there is any type of discipline in aspects of life.  black and white and everyone in between.

We all surround ourselves with people and we chose......  whether it be with Christians, non Christians, criminals, non criminals, good character, bad character, work ethic, no workt,  ethic, sports, non sports, clean, non clean, tidy, non tidy, respectful, non respectful, disciplined, undisciplined, hunters, non hunters, fishing, non fishing, left, righetc etc etc.

You want to live a certain place, earn it.
