Deer Park 24 Baytown Sterling 12/Final

The Deer Park Deer wrap up the 2014 regular season as they host the Baytown Sterling Rangers tonight.  The Deer were last in action two weeks ago, besting Channelview 23-22, running their season mark to 7-2 and district record to 3-2.  Meanwhile, the Rangers fell to 5-4 on the season and 1-4 in district after falling to Channelview, 56-32.

RSS finishes 5-5 and 1-5 in district.

They did, however, win the Baytown Cup.

Not impressed by DP at all. Good defense, not so good offense.

Sooo many injuries for Sterling after PAM game 3 of the 5 Starting o line were out and after BWB,

RSS was a victim of injuries and some ill timed self inflicted turnovers in some critical games. The PAM and BWB games were games they should have won. Really The NS game was the only game they did not compete. The offense was a shell of itself after the wb game. Good job by this years staff and boys, hopefully that turns the tide of the program going forward.
