TxHoops Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Lets hear it! All hawks, all the time. Bedelmon gets bored midway through the second quarter and tries to eat his weight in boudin. Quote
OleMoe Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Haven't seen HJ play. Orangefield can control the ball. HJ can't look beyond these guys. I'm predicting a minor upset.B Cats +1 Quote
bullets13 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 This year that would be a major upset. HJ 41-14 Quote
drewlsu Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 It's HJ's homecoming. I take them by three scores. Maybe two if we let OF score in garbage time. HJ 28 OF 7 Quote
MoFo Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 This game will be a battle. OF has 2 brothers that I consider family on their team and I know the heart they have. HJ is not taking this game lightly, OF brings it, every game the kids are competitors. With the way these 2 teams manage the clock I predict a low scoring game. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 My first prediction, this game will be over by 9:15pm. Each team will have a total of 5 possessions for the game. There will be 4 offensive drives of 14 plays or more. Each team will combine for 11 total pass attempts with a combined passing yardage of 42 yards. 6 players will have 60+ rushing yards. There will be two 2 point conversions in this game. If it rains before or during game, Hawk Stadium will become Hawk Rodeo Arena and will not be able to be used rest of season. My score prediction Orangefield 16 Hardin-Jefferson 24 Quote
skipper Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 20-17 orangefield to much speed for hj to handel Quote
ace2335 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 HJ just didn't beat Tatum by accident I'll take the Hawks by at least 10 Quote
Guest Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 HJ definitely wins this.. By more than a TD.. Prolly two or three Quote
Bobkat Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 20-17 orangefield to much speed for hj to handel Sorry Skipper but we don't have much speed sir, basically 3 yards and a cloud of dust approach for us. Quote
jimmyw Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 I watched Hardin-Jefferson play against Jasper and they ran the ball straight up the middle down Jasper throat ,Jasper couldn't stop them and I don't think Orangefield can stop them either. The Hawks on defense hustled and had great pursuit angles the whole game. I hope Orangefield does good but I predict the score to be H-J 42- O-field 28. Jmo Quote
HJ85 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 HJ 35 OF 21...they said tatum had speed too..but kinda hard for speed to help you when HJ defense contains the edges very well JMO Quote
Proud Dawg Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Gonna jump on the hj bandwagon. I like what they are doin. Winning games and gaining haters. Quote
skipper Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Sorry Skipper but we don't have much speed sir, basically 3 yards and a cloud of dust approach for us. your DL will show up in this one ,HJ is on cloud 9 as i speak . i have seen both of you play and the cats play lights out football. i wish both teams the best friday Quote
whoisatfirst Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Gotta take HJ in this one. Both teams playing good at the moment, hoping for an injury free game. 24-14 Quote
cat001 Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 HJ wins with ease OF is a good team but I think HJ is on a different level at this point. HJ-42 OF-14 Quote
mytwocents-28 Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 That OF defense ain't no slouch and plus they have the added advantage of knowing Dubois and the slot t offense. I think this will be a close one but I still see HJ winning by 10. Quote
Shakeandbake Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Wont miss this one.....can we take the Charter bus again. Lol Quote
BobcatBaseball8 Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 I love the confidence the guys have right now, I think the momentum keeps going HJ has more talent but I think OF pulls it off in a gritty game, 28-21 Few big turnovers gets the Cats good field positions, gonna be a heck of a game Riding Solo 1 Quote
