Guest Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 I think arnold will put up some huge numbers in this one Quote
whsalum Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 I predicted all along Kountze would start 0-5, they will win this one going away. They also get a W against Anahuac, Warren and Woodville to claim the 4th spot. Quote
Javelina Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 I didn't mean it in a bad way.. I was trying to quote who asked who he was also but it only quoted your reply Quote
whsalum Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Forgot the score , sorry. Kountze- 42 Hardin-14 Quote
Bighornet Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 I know this isn't a Hardin lineman thread but their "weakest" lineman benches 285 and squats a little over 400. I think it's going to take speed to stop Kountze and hopefully Hardin will rise to the occasion. Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Here is my take...for what it matters to anyone: First, Hardin cant stay on the field with Kountze on speed and overall Offensive score capability...not even close and Kountze defense has the ability to give the offense opportunities to get the upper hand in a track meet. Second, all that being said I am not going to say Kountze beats anybody at this point, because we have yet to prove we can put it together and win a game and until we do saying so is just a bunch of hog wash. For the Kountze faithful that are going to maybe stone me for saying this...I am not being down and I am still 110% behind these boys and feel thay can continue to pull it together and get in the playoffs to make it a repeat, but we got some proven to do plain and simple. Best of luck to Hardin and I pray for a safe and injury free game my friends! You guys are good folks that believe in your program and kids aswell and its a joy to compete with yall in every sport! justsaying Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Huge slow lineman will not make a difference in this game. I am going with Kountze by 40.. Kountze will score on punts and kickoff returns as well as on offense. Grayland is just to elusive to be caught by a lineman. JMHO Quote

I don't think they'll be chasing Arnold too much. Quote

Good luck to the Lions Friday night and I, as always, pray for the safety of our kids. Quote
justsaying Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 you never know. EC oline had to chase him once in our game. He picked up a fumble to took off like a zig zagging rocket.. Quote

Capone Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 I'm gonna say kountze gets a couple wins under the belt, builds some confidence, the coaches start to click and they run out the district with W's! Quote

But if there's no technique or aggression, it doesn't mean anything at all. Quote
Bighornet Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 And?? Lol those are all fine and dandy. By the way, one of those no technique, non aggressive lineman has a D1 offer. Quote
Bighornet Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Ew1, perhaps if you read the entire thread, you would seen what I meant by that post. By the way, one of those non aggressive and poor technique lineman already has a D1 offer. Thanks for you input and good luck to the Eagles. Quote

By the way, one of those no technique, non aggressive lineman has a D1 offer.Maybe I should put more detail into my comment. I am fully aware that Hardin has TWO very good linemen. That was not my point. My point was that you can be as strong as Mark Henry, but without technique, you'll never be better than average. And "poor" technique? I never used that term. I wasn't going to go that far. But since you said it, okay, yeah we'll go with that :) Quote
Salesman Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Calm down Gents. It's gonna be ok! Quote
