PN-G and Central both looking powerful. Nederland after a weak preseason making a statement last night: they said dont forget about us!!!!!!!

So I gonna go out a limb here and say that those will be your top 3 in district. I still think Vidor will be the top candidate for number 4 unless someone else wakes up. I think Vidor is a better team that Baytown Lee,. GCM, Lumberton, and Ozen. Curious what your thoughts might be???

I agree on the top 3.  Unless Vidor improves substantially on defense, fourth place is up for grabs.

I'll say the top 3 has definitely solidified itself with ned central and png. Other than that it gets muddy. Gcm showed pretty well with there running game last night and we have to wait till tonight to see what ozen and lumberton does. As for Vidor they definitely showed that they have fight in em and showed there offense can score and scoring quickly if needed but if we don't find a decent defense I'm not sure if we can get thay fourth spot when facing offenses like gcm's running back and Ozen's randle and lumberton's qb. I guess we'll have to see.

I like Vidors chances at a playoff spot, their O is there best D......Gonna be tough for alot to slow down,much less stop. Especially the teams that dont see an O like Vidors year in and out.

Ned, PNG, Central, no clue as to the order they finish, Vidor would be my number 4 team.  Even though they need work on defense, the way their offense soaks up the clock that makes up for lack of defense.

this is just week 1 and anything can destroy a season. I do think vidor vs gcm will be the game to watch. Pirates are better than what we think, especially if they can start games like they did in second half.

Your top two teams are PN-G and Central. Barring an unexpected turn of events (knock on wood), the district championship will be decided by the game between those two teams. As usual, that game will be highly competitive and probably end in overtime, which is awesome because it will also be the first PN-G game I get to see in person in more than two years.

The third and fourth spots are toss-ups. After this week, I think Nederland has the best shot at third. GCM, Ozen and Vidor will all also compete for it. I like Ozen's chances best for the last playoff spot. But, all of that could change in the coming weeks.

would not count on that atmosphere being in centrals favor. PNG will have a better fan base at that game than central.

This year, I expect the same being that both teams are really good and should be playing for a district title.

that is another thing you are wrong about. PNG visiting side is much smaller than the home side. so even if central sold out the visiting side the number still would not even be close.  now the butch seems to hold close to even amounts on both sides.

2012 season, PN-G was not good. The fans weren't showing up. The Centrl game at the rez, the numbers were about the same. I know becuse I was sitting on PN-G side.

that certain someone is an actual person or your alter ego? Schedule has been 2pm since the schedule was made. Not sure where 7pm came from.

My informtion was obtained from BISD website and from the official schedule thats mailed to me every year, not some fan website that's based off of he say she say.
