Huntington 14 Hardin 15/Final

Fantastic ballgame by both teams. What sucks is we are in the ER waiting to see the results of my sons xray on his ankle, he was injured in the 3rd qtr.

Praying for the best and a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the prayers.. X ray was negative. You are wrong falcon, this is not the same old Huntington as in years past.
You were not at the game and you have no clue how well those 2 teams played.

Falcon you give up so easy…Remember you are overhyping a young/inexperienced football team. Remember they have a good Jr. class and most if them were JV last season. Only 4 guys that i can think of have any significant friday night experience, (QB, who didn't play last year, both RB and LT) and I don't think anyone on D started last season.

 

Like FF said, this is not the same Huntington. Give them time, I understand that everything today is quick fix, I want it now, time for something new world that we live in and look where that has got us, no where fast. Lets take a step back and remember that Rome wasn't built in a day, neither was the Great Wall of China or the Egyptian Pyramids. Give them time and see if something good doesn't happen.

Half of the starters played JV as freshman. They should have won both of these games. I will not make any predictions on them from this point until they produce. They have a talented Jr class and should be winning. They will have to get it done with this group or it will not happen.

I am not a homer. I said Huntington is Huntington. I do have some familiarity with the current team and they could definitely be 2-0.

Buddy of mine in Hardin said that should not have been a close game. He said Hardin shot them self in the foot many times and could have easily been a 3 td victory for Hardon. Maybe he was wrong

Huntington had some miscues as well, but both teams left it all out on the field. Congrats to Hardin on getting the win.

Congratulations Hornets

First time to start 2-0 in a few years.

Young men are giving a great effort. I am really enjoying the energy around Hardin. Plenty are coming out & supporting the kids, as well as the young ladies on the volleyball courts as well.

Looking forward to the rest of the season.

This week we travel to New Waverly. I am certain this will be a great test, as well.

Lol New Waverly is improved as well. Can't wait for September 26th.
