no-look Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Don't know much about Hardin's size and speed but Huntington is much improved this year. Should be a good one. Bighornet 1 Quote

butta Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 I'll take Huntington, bouncing back from a loss last week although Hardin put up a bunch of points last week. I think Huntington's offense will put it together this week, could be a high scoring match. Quote
Guest Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 I would have picked Huntington by a large margin before last week. The are loaded in the Jr class. I think they will bounce back but I am not certain. TexMex 1 Quote

TexMex Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Not confident in Huntington but still not convinced in Hardin either. A toss up for me. Hardin at home so there's my choice That said c'mon Devils lol prove me wrong Quote

Should be a good one.I've heard that Huntington has a pretty good size d-line. Hopefully those little fellas on Hardin's o-line will at least slow them down. Hardin has decent speed and a defense that is showing a ton of improvement over the previous several years. Quote

They are solid across the board. Quote
cat001 Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Huntington also has some speed and one of the best athletes in their district. They are solid across the board. Not in their new district. I'm sure he is a good athlete but not the same caliber as some of the kids from Coldspring, Shepherd, or the QB from Tarkington. That being said I think Hardin takes this one by 6. Quote

Jeremiah Robertson is a top athlete in any district. He was in the old district and he is in the new district. Quote

TexMex Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 Hardin small offensive line ? compared to who, the Cowboys ? I heard that's all Hardin had was an offensive line, just sayin. However, with no team speed, those bulldozers up front don't really help much, in my opinion I'll take Hardin by 6 in this one though Quote

I'm not quite sure where this no team speed notion comes from. Quote
TexMex Posted September 2, 2014 Report Posted September 2, 2014 it comes from last year's beating in Kountze Texas where we ran all around your team until a play opened up it comes from EC / Kirby / Woodville / Anahuac all doing the same thing, if memory serves me right Come on now, yall didn't change overnight now did u ya'll recruiting in Hardin or what ?? Bighornet Posted September 2, 2014 Author Report Posted September 2, 2014 No we are not but I think "no" speed is stretching it a bit. Quote
butta Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 For those of you who are in the new district, saying the Robertson may have been an athlete in the old district but not the new...remember, Huntington got a break, this new district is better than the old...Center....Diboll...Jasper...oh and don't forget Carthage. Guest Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 Better than the old?? Are you serious? Quote
