DP#1FAN Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Congrats to the Pirates on a big win. It's always an emotional game when you play against a former coach. Kids played with heart and are tough. Warren and Coach Babin will be fine . They will only get better with him there. If you don't believe that ask the kids in Deweyville. Pirates nice win. D.Pirates Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 No,Senior Brendon Waldrep started at QB and the first play was a 70yd TD pass from Waldrep to Robert Brinson. Triston Gordon had an INT,a TD and a couple of passes defensed. The Pirates looked quite a bit better this week after some key position changes on both sides of the ball. Hubbard played the 4th qtr with Waldrep at TB. Quote
whsalum Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Warren and Deweyville always play each other close and this looks like more of the same. Both clubs starting over with good young coaches, I just don't see the down side for either club. Watching the high lights looks like the Warriors are gonna have to tighten up the secondary but that's not unusual with young clubs. Congrats to the Pirates but my heart stays with Warren. Go Warriors !!!! Quote
pirate supporter Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 This was a fabulous game for the Deweyville Pirates. It shows the heart that these boys have. Coach Dale is a great guy who is working great with the boys. Enjoyed watching him so pumped up during the entire game. Quote
