eagleswoodville#1
Woodville's passing game is limited too Yeah but they have the speed and the ability at quarterback to throw on a mediocre secondary. If they don't have any speed, Woodville should have a field day.
tigerheart
Agree, but you CANNNOT make mistakes against Joaquin because your possessions are very limited. They are going to snap the ball deep in the playclock every time, and the clock is almost always running because they rarely throw it. If you see the ball more than twice a quarter you are fortunate. If Joaquin gets the ball on their own 30 they may run 15 plays and still not have scored yet, and they've ran 9 minutes off the clock. They are the true definition of "three yards and a cloud of dust".
TexMex
Well don't allow them. You get what you give. Stack the box Jack!

Which is why I'm sure their gameplan will not be to throw the ball lol I think we have the speed to run them off the field if we execute and limit the penalties. And out defense is physical enough to stack the box and shut them down. This is all possible IF WE EXECUTE lol if not, it could be a close game. longball24
IF it is not a blow out, it will be hard to contain the emotions on the wdv side. Parents are paying attention to every move on the field. Must make improvements on both sides of the ball.
mmccary
Joaquin is not going to be able to out run Woodville the way SA could, with that being said I think Woodville wins this game by 2 scores. We burnt them passing the ball, then ran the ball down their throat.

You beat us by one score in both segments of the scrimmage. So either neither side played any defense or it may have just actually been a competitive game. On the topic though again if woodville doesn't turn the ball over they should be able to consistently move the ball. Defensively is another story, you've got to find a way to make a stop on 4 straight plays because if it's 4 and 3-4 or less they are going for it almost every time.
