Eazy Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 Any predictions on this one? Both teams had tough years in 2013. Woodville won last year's season opener, but new coaching staff this year. I'm thinking Woodville wins again. Quote
Guest Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 If Woodville doesn't win... It's gonna be a long season for the eagles lol Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 I think Woodville wins it again by a large margin. New Waverly has gone downhill in the last four years. And Woodville is improved. Woodville 35 New Waverly 6 Quote

WTB Posted August 23, 2014 Report Posted August 23, 2014 New Waverly was pretty bad last year and had alot of problems because the AD left during 2 a days and there was alot of problems after that. This year should be alittle better but easy game for Woodville Quote
Eazy Posted August 23, 2014 Author Report Posted August 23, 2014 NW had a last minute new coach and tons of injuries last year and basically had their JV team on the field during all the district games. This year looks much better if they stay healthy as they have guys back and some experience now. I wouldn't necessarily say they are bad, but I think Woodville wins a close game. Also, Michael Bishop, former Heisman runner-up is on the coaching staff now. Quote

We need someone who will test the new offensive system and force our defense to do things right. Quote
