The "Butch" Ticket into the game $7 Parking "Free"  That's an extra boudin or nachos and a drink for the Kids. Plus the closet seats to the field in the area on the first level. And the chance to holla words of encourgement to my son. (Priceless) See ya Friday at the "Butch" How bout them Jags !!!!! Oh almost forgot to mention the best tailgating facility in the area And just think what the "Butch" will have to offer after the "Waldrof Astoria at the "Butch" is opened. Probally will be $10 for parking then. So enjoy it now.
The only HS game where you check in with a Speedo and check out wearing a Hoodie.  ;D
  2. LU is nice and the scoreboard showing gamedame before the game is awesome.  But when Da Butch soon  gets bell hops to open the car door for you----now dats what Ima talkin bout. ;D
  3. I want to personally thank Snooks for winning this award.  It took 12 long years of not studying to accomplish this.  :P
  4. On Big #73 behalf--he did salvage the first down and kept the drive alive.   ;D
  5. Da Butch replays all their commercials.  ;D
  6. Great game Brook --Total team effort.  Offense + Defense+special teams = Round 2.  We still had stuff left in our bag of tricks.  Couple of dropped balls could have gone the distance.  Hats off (pun intended) to Big #73 on Dobie.  He held everything he could except his helment which cost them 30 yards and an ejection.  While his team was getting the  Butch Slap he was doing the  bench flip.  :o
  7.
Man, with that much fabricating skill, you'd think they could have at least made it look like you're riding on the cats back. You either have to be gay or a proctologist to feel comfortable riding that thing. Another thing, it has a 1200cc motor so 50mph is definitely a misprint and if it is supposed to be 150, I would be running it that fast so noone would realize what it looks like I'm doing.  :D
It does look like he's throttled up.  :o
  8.

Can the Home parking lot be reached from the Hwy 124 (Fannett Rd) side?  Or do I have to go down IH 10 to reach it?
Yes it can. There is actually 2 entrances from Fannett Rd. If coming from Walden, there is the main entrance right behind the visitors stands. If coming from Brooks/Major, the 1st entrance will actually lead you to the home side, w/out going through the visitors parking; the 2nd entrance is behind visitors.
This is correct --while this community is a "diverse" one ---it is not at all "divisive"  8)
  9. My assessmnet briefly WB dropped too many passes escpecially in wide open situations. La Ports O-line whipped us all night long.  They deserve lots of credit for keeping the running game going and the ball out of WB hands.  They are big, and work very well as a unit.
  10.
my only question is this... what do you do with a bad snap that goes to her?  do you have her kicking off as well? in two seasons of kicking i was tackled in a game 3 times due to bad snaps/fakes, and made more tackles than that covering kickoffs.  i was a good athlete, but having no real football experience apart from scout team and place kicking, it was always an awkward moment if i was involved in a tackle, either giving or taking.  as a coach do you want to be held accountable if she gets smashed by some 260-lb lineman after picking up a bad snap?  do you want to be held accountable if she gets hurt trying to make a TD-saving tackle on a kickoff?
After coaching girls softbal for over 8 years, i can comfortably tell you that many girl atheletes can handle this situation.  Guys have been taught that girls are fragile, but quite frankly they are not.  They can dive, slide, move laterally, and often run straight thru you.  As far as the bad snap---and since she does seem to have a good foot, 1 kick in the deep snappers groin first thing in Mondays practice should resolve the issue.  ;)
  11.
it turns out that the FIRING of mintard has created more problems than solved. P.A. will most likely win this one
Where did this come from---any specifics?
  12.
They may lock this one.... ;D ;D ;D
In all fairness---I think the mods should go to a two-party system. Each week they should have a party at somebody's house and then have another one at somebody else's.  8)
  13. Good point and good post jayhawk.  I agree with most that you say----might I add that the kids of today are not to blame for the direction society has taken.  It is the descisions and acceptance of these descisions from the generations before them.
Back atcha Bud---you missed the point.  Lighten up.  I ain't stupid and you offended me---I got feelings you know---I need a moderator and now.  ;)
Don't care if I offended you. ;D ;D
As a parent, I accepted the responsibility of shaping and molding my kids to become members of a productive society.  I have high expectations of them and lots of confidence along with it.  It would be foolish of me to say that the kids of today are  lazy and non-productive when I have had a hand in this.  BTW--I do not need to say where my kids are, but they do not in any form or fashion fit the description that some parents  describe of the kids today.  All three of my kids are on a much better pace than i ever dreamed of.  I also have witnessed many of their friends on the same pathways to success.  Now if you have a problems with kids today and have not contributed anything towards this then I can understand your insecure feeling. But I will go to sleep tonight comfortably knowing that some day, my kids will have the unfortunate responsibility to make descisions on my behalf and that they will do the right thing.   I regret that you seem to not have that same feeling.  The fact that you say you dont care---perhaps is the root of your negativiety in todays youthful  society.

  18. I see lots of happy birthday post.  I think your fans need at least a two sentence reply!! :)

  20. This happy birthday wish comes with prayers for the senior players whom I know you love as they play their last regular season game before going into the play-offs.  Seriously, I know the adversity they have had to deal with is real and I wish them good Karma in the post season.  8)
  21. Man you guys have been working the moderators too hard.  For those of you that feel the "rut" of this hunting and play off season----the mods just might be doing a little doe hunting themselves while you are out watching the bucks.  As for me---i loves me mods.  They keep me balanced.  ;D
