1. Saw this one coming.  Wouldn't be surprised if L-train makes play-offs.  They just happened to play an LCM team at the absolute zenith of the emotional ladder.
 2.
Ozen gave up 131 yards to a backup soph running back, and LCM took the foot off the gas in the fourth quarter. What if LCM didn't drop a TD pass on the first series, what if the refs didn't give Ozen the ball on the LCM fumble the Panthers recovered 2 yards out of bounds when LCM was driving for a score, what if the LCM starters that were out played, what if LCM wasn't a little flat after the emotion of last week, what if the refs called Ozen for holding at least once. See we can do this all day long. What happened is what happened an LCM win.
Good post.  Don' forget about the easy wide open td to Harmon that Gonzales missed...
 3. Green was in on 4 possessions, two touchdowns and two four-and-outs.  One td was a good pass, the other was such a terribly blown coverage on a flood route (slot runs short out, mid runs 10 yard out and outside guy runs go) that my wife could have thrown for a touchdown.  And don't worry, I guarantee you that the safety will never make that mistake again.  And don't forget, Tevin Jones was hobbling around with a messed up ankle, so LCM had to start a sophomore at running back.  Another injury forced LCM to move up another sophomore to start at guard. So if you're going to make those excuses, then we can go all day.
 4.
LC-M needs to work on there pass (D) bad.if ozens back would not droped the ball he was wide open he would have scored  no one around him
Tell me about it.  LCM's pass defense for 90% of plays are lock down, but when they screw up...man!  A couple of bad plays by the secondary really hides how well the defense played overall.  They pretty much shut down Ozen's running and short/mid-range passing game the entire night. That being said, they weren't very fired up.  It seems that da bears play much harder at home then on the road
 5. Ozen 9th stomped lcm 9th A. Ozen JV up 20-12 in 4th over lcm JV. LCM 9th b played Buna, haven't heard about that game
 6.

LCM?  Team to beat? ???  Because they beat PNG?  :-\ I for one am estatic that LCM is playing well... But for a decade long bottom feeder, you must win more than just one game to be a for sure thing... Truthfully no one know what the heck is going on in this district!!!  The only thing we all know is that it is truly a weak district this year... Even though it pains me to say it!  :'(
I agree with that statement.
Whoa.  If this district is truly weak, and Lumberton (who plays in a weak district) just beat Silsbee at Silsbee, then loss to LCM (who also plays in a truly weak district) then Silsbee must be GARBAGE.  Man I sure would hate to be a Silsbee player, after our school's biggest supporter just - by the transitive property of algebra - said we suck.  Tough times up in tigerland, I guess.
 7. You guys should really stop all this crap!  Everyone knows that you can't talk about a defensive player or offensive lineman individually unless they are D1 material...they are not humans like the skill position players, you can only talk about them as units (linebackers, Dline, etc.)  ;D
 8.
Who wins?    Whoever has the ball last!!!!!!!!!    This will be a wild one. How high does Butch's scoreboard go?
Why is this supposed to be a high-scoring game?
 9.
Emily Hughes has played some awesome soccer over the years.  Newcomer of the year in '08.  First Team All District in '09.  She was injured part of the season in '10, but 3 goals in a dominating playoff performance vs. Silsbee.  Not to mention an incredible track record with her club team.  I also anticipate a big season for Emily and the LC-M Bears.  PN-G is always tough. So, this season should be interesting.
Speaking of track, she finished 4th in the 200 at district despite being out of shape due to an injury and having just gotten out of soccer.  Also anchored the 4x1 if I'm not mistaken
 10.
SGTREY LCM #4 ''THIS ISNT 7 ON 7'' Neither was the last 4 straight wins
Just so you know, its really uncouth to call people on predictions or comments they make when you find out they're incorrect, especially over a month ago.  I bet I could find several predictions that you've made that were wrong.  Most importantly, it makes LCM look like a school who doesn't know how to act once they start winning.  Which is not the type of school we are.
 11.
Alright so PN-G,Nederland, and Ozen were all preseason playoff picks and are all 1-3 and 0-1 in district. Now I understand its still early should they be paitent or is it time to panic?
Or Lumberton!  And no, of course not.  Last time I checked you play 7 district games, so there is still a ways to go. Also, I don't recall Ozen being a consensus preseason pick.
 12.

LCM is averaging 45 ppg.  Although Ozen possesses some amazing speed, I'm going to say LCM 54 - 12.
Ozen held West Brook to 28 points.  No way in heck LC-M scores 54.  Reyes and Cunnigan is way better that Gonzalez and Sonnier, IMO..
Haha that is a silly thing to say, because Central just put up 41 against them.  And West Brook shot themselves in the foot that whole game.  That being said, I think last week's game was way closer than the score.  It should be a really good one.
 13.
I still say LCM pulls this one out IF our defense is playing Four quarters the whole game. (35-24) Bears win
yeah it's never good when you play four quarters for half a game, or a whole game for 2 quarters... ;D
 14.

I thought Lumberton freshmen were supposed to be dominant...am I mixing them up with somebody or what? Also, JV in the 2nd: LCM 21 Lumberton 0
Whoever told you LR freshman were dominant was telling you a fib. They haven't won a game this year. The freshman and JV usually do lose....all the playmakers are on varsity!  ;D
Sounds like A Bears Bear is tired of having his you know what handed to him and he thinks this is the year it changes.  New coach and an influx of WOS players may do the trick.  LCM is definately more competitive.
How did you derive that?  Just because LCM freshmen and JV beat Lumberton subvarsities doesn't mean I was bragging, I was just reporting a score.  And I heard before the frosh game that Lumberton's froshes were salty-don't shoot the messenger. And I wouldn't give all the credit to an "influx of wos players."  The varsity will start 1 or 2 guys tomorrow that went to WOS last year. And yes, Coach Crouch is an immesurable improvement over Moody, but give credit where credit is due; this year's seniors were the ones that were the sophomores starting on that 2008 debacle and all the hard work and experience have apparently paid off. That being said, they are still 0-0 in district and it is quite understand why Lumberton is favored in the game
 15.
JV remains undefeated, 4-0. Well done, Indians! [IMG][Hidden Content]]
It's likely that PNG will always have a elite JV team.  They have so many players in the program that they are able to keep almost all of their sophomores and many of their jrs on JV.
 16.
That would be 1-0.
Sorry.  Lumberton won that game 21-14.  I should've switched the numbers
 17.
My comfort comes in knowing that since Creduer took over, LCM hasn't beaten us.
Yeah, but Coach Crouch is only 0-1 against him...(21-14 last year)
 18. I'm confused...with a name like bmtqj33 you would think he'd be a West Brook fan or something. But yeah, one thread per game would suffice...
 19. I thought Lumberton freshmen were supposed to be dominant...am I mixing them up with somebody or what? Also, JV in the 2nd: LCM 21 Lumberton 0
 20. Wow, who would have thought that Livingston would be ranked ahead of PNG when they meet?  Not that PNG shouldn't be favored, I'm just saying...
Well, you cracked 2 'math' jokes.  I guess you thought that was funny... (  ::) )  But whatever.  Talk down on the stadium when you win in it.  And BTW, you would have gotten ran out the stadium too if you faced competition like the BMT schools faced...
Were just one school like i said bring it or stay home 3-0 an 1-03 fundemental football here not dancin with the stars, in case you don't know what that means jukin-juvin stay home
Keep hating, sunshine... We love it.  BTW, I think you need to be worrying about the Bears of Little Cypress.  But your HATERISM won't allow you to, huh?  ::) ::)
No!  I have no problems with them focusing on Central and Ozen!  Be my guest!
 22. Vidor really seems to struggle defending the passing game, and Forney has a cannon and the receivers to really threaten Vidor deep.  However, Vidor should be able to put together some long, sustained drives to keep Nederland on defense.  Until they fall behind... Nederland 28 Vidor 14
 23.
Bears defense was horrible against a very bad GCM team, but that was early.  LCM does have a very explosive fast scoring offense, which will be the difference.  LCM by 9 if they don't turn it over and play some D.
I know GCM's offense is bad this year, but LCM gave up 160 yards and both touchdowns they gave up came off of fumbles in Bear territory.  I don't think "horrible" is an appropriate term.  That being said, if they play like they did in the first half of the Caney Creek game and second half of the Nacogdoches game, then Lumberton wins this one.
 24. Saw part of Barber's Hill versus Lumberton-you have to admire their toughness and heart.  But i don't think they will be able to run on dayton, and their passing attack isn't much of a threat.  I've got Dayton in what I see as a relatively low-scoring game
