I think this one is gonna be close. CS 32 Huffman 28
-
I really mispredicted this one. :-\
-
Our scout told us the Refs in this game did a sub par job but the outcome wouldnt have changed other than the score being a little closer.Cleveland should beat Liberty and the Falcons will have a good shot at taking home a district championship if something dont change between now and then.I still predict a Trojan win.Coldspring is still pretty good and Barbay has just about all the kinks worked out.

BH D showing up to play tonight. Porter 3 and out. By the way they have about 10 Dayton coaches at the game. I think thier scared. ;D
Nay!! Their there to see how its done properly!!! ;) -
Tarkington 28 Shepherd 20
-
Huffman needs to be very careful here.Cleveland is not Liberty. Huffman needs to make few mistakes or they'll be on the losing end of this one. Huffman 38 Cleveland 28
-
I define a blowout by winning by three or more touchdowns and a close won by a touchdown or less.I think North Shore will take this one by two touchdowns.
-
This score doesnt surprise me at all.Anyone on the outside looking in would have predicted it.I applaud the faithful Kirbyville fans for keeping the faith except for one.
-
Top three will be CS,Huffman and Cleveland. Huffman could upset CS, the defending District Champs, but until they do it'll be this way. Liberty gave up 28 points to Splendora in their win last week and Cleveland didnt allow not a single point this week against them.Liberty will have to throw the ball a lot but Cleveland's secondary is too quick and if they try to run the ball all game like they did against Huffman they'll really get killed.Deel has to run more than the few number of plays he's running.
Some believe the players give up early in the game, well so do the coaches. The play selection proves this.I really feel for some of these players. The comment that Liberty has no D1 players is unfortunatly true but thats not the fault of the players that had D1 potential.I believe that a couple of these players would've had a decent chance had they been under another program.Daniel Fitzwater is a good example of this. His parents moved him where he had a better chance to be noticed. With the numbers he's putting up he is being noticed.Had he stayed at Liberty no school would even be looking. And I dont want to hear from any Liberty or Fitz haters that he's not being looked at because he is.FACT.Im not saying offers Im saying scouts.Looking and offers are different.
Anyway,Liberty will get 4th at best if they dont get the big head and think they can beat Tarkington, those cowpokes are getting hungry for a district win. -

I don't know if anyone else noticed all the jaw jacking going on. They just woke up a beast. After getting the defense right, everyone better see it. BH never goes down easy.
Dolan knocked one into next week and walked over him. Can we have a Crosby rematch? We Need a doover!
Even though I dont have dog in this show,I dont think Crosby would want to play BH again.I was shocked that the cougars beat 'em this year.Never the less this district is going to go down to the wire with 3 teams battling for the top spot and all but 2 battling for a playoff spot. -
Newton 55 Kville 7

S/o to all the haters that said Liberty wouldn't get a win blah blah blah etc etc.
Im not a "Liberty Hater" and I didnt think that a win could come their way either.I have confidence in the players that they can win and should win. What I dont have confidence in,to which Ive stated many times,is the coaching(ie play calling).
If Liberty can be consistant and play Tarkington and Shepherd the way they played this game, then they can pick up two more wins.Congradulations to Liberty on their homecoming win!! :) -
Congrats to the Liberty players,Im glad they won Homecoming.
-
The question is finally answered.Congradulations to the Liberty players. They really needed a win especially for Homecoming.I pray the injury bug stays away and maybe ya'll can have some fun against Shepherd and Tarkington.
-
If Liberty can pull out a win,so can Central. ;)
-
Coldspring wins 3 to 1
-
Prayers from Coldspring.May JESUS comfort those who are in need.

It's a different Cleveland Team and obviously a different Liberty Team... Tonight they will either be tied for first or in last place...
Who has the advantage tonight of Liberty vs. Splendora with the predicted weather?
The Cheerleaders!! ;D -

What a sad thread. Try and be more encouraging. These are not professionals, they are high school students.
This is a sad thread. Its sad that the program that is run by adults cant do anything with these high school kids except themselves blame the kids.Change the AD,change the attitude.
Although I do believe that Deel will be leaving after this season, he is not the biggest problem with the Liberty program. The Panthers have improved every year, with the expception of this year. I do agree that the attitude of some seems to be a problem, but as an ex coach for liberty used to say... there are two things that can not be coached... effort and enthusiasm. A coach can teach technique and build discipline. The player have had decent technique over the the last few years, but discipline is one thing Liberty seemed to be struggling with, and overall that is the only problem that i have ever had with the way coach deel has ran his program. You cannot lay the blame on the coaches alone. Imo it the blame for Liberty's is rough season this year lies in both the players and coaches. From the few games I saw, I have not seen every Liberty game this year, there are SOME players who do not seem to be giving everything they have on Friday nights. of course i do not know the whole story those players could be playing through injuries or something like that i do not know, but that is the way it looked in the stands. Texas Minuteman when has the coaches blamed the kids? Not calling you out but that is the first time I have heard that.
Its hearsay!! Ive heard it from friends and parents of some of the players. But I dont believe that they all would say the same thing if it were not true.
Im assuming you are from Liberty, as am I, and we shold both know to take everyything you hear with a grain of salt... small town rumors are not the most reliable source of information. Now I do not know if they said it, but I highly doubt it is true based on what I know about the coaches at Liberty.
Im not from Liberty and have never been, but I do have relationships with people there including a couple of coaches there(who doesnt blame kids)and some former coaches that wouldnt either.
What is Liberty's trouble!!!!
