  1. What ever happened to Will Henderson. Is he playing anywhere?
  2. Coach Roc also had Perkins signed (to go Memphis at least) ;D but Roc recruits the area well and I think if anyone can keep the local guys at home, he can.
  3. Stroud on the tee at 12:30. Complete leaderboard is here: [Hidden Content]
  4. There always Free Agency. Then again he always does have his A&M degree to "fall back" on. Wish him luck either way.
  5. Unbelieveable game at Reckling Park tonight. Great comeback by the Owls in a classic pitchers duel. ATM burned their #1, and #2 starters tonight in Newmann, and Nicholson. Lets hope the Owls can keep the Aggie bats silent and take game two tomorrow.
  6. Price #1 - no shock there. He just became a very rich man. ;D (TB)
  7. I doubt Wichita State, CSF, Michigan, Oregon State, et. al. really care if Texas and Vanderbilt are ranked in front of them right now. I'd take #22 and still playing instead of #7 and going home for the summer any day.
  8. Looks like Bryson found his successor whenever he is ready to retire.
  9. All the Super Regionals are on ESPN Texas A&M-Rice Friday: 6 p.m. (ESPN) Saturday: 5 p.m. (ESPNU) Sunday*: 6 p.m. (ESPN2) * -- if necessary
  10. Not sure. Call the ticket office (713) 522-OWLS. They can tell you for sure. TICKETS ARE GONE, so I wish you luck.
  11. Sweet the steeplechase. That was always one of my favorite things to watch. It was like watching someone run through highway construction with the water and "road blocks" Seriously though...Good luck to Amanda we are all pulling for her.
  12. Now lets just hope the Owls avoid the upset this weekend.
  13. Oregon State 5 Virgina 3 - Top 5 The defending champs are trying to fight there way out of the losers bracket. Nothing new considering that how they won the CWS last year. The game is @ UVA, but OSU is designated home team.
  14. Yep, I will be there. Games start Friday, time TBA, according to Rice website tickets are gone, so it should be quite the atmosphere this weekend. All the Super Regionals are on the ESPN Family Networks.
  15. From the Rice Website - Printer-Friendly Format E-mail this article No tickets left for Super Regional Owls & Aggies--SOLD OUT June 5, 2007 The Super Regional showdown between second seeded Rice and Texas A&M will be played before a sell out crowd when it opens on Friday. All remaining tickets for the series were sold as of Tuesday morning. Fans who purchased tickets will be able to begin picking up their tickets at the Autry Court Ticket Office at 9 am Wednesday morning. The ticket office will be open from 9 am to 7 pm on both Wednesday and Thursday to distribute tickets. Friday's ticket office hours are TBD, pending the final determination of first pitch by ESPN as part of their broadcast plans for the Super Regionals.
  16. Ruck- I was more or less giving you a hard time anyway. I didn't really think about the whole PGA Qual. School thing. That may be tougher than I think, and definately a lot of pressure. If it is certain that he is gone, how many Lamar players have left to turn pro before graduating in the last few years? Anyone know a number?
  17. I would have to agree, but getting by the Aggies is no easy task. A&M won both meetings this year. Perhaps some revenge could be in order.
  18. MSU elimintaed Florida State yesterday and will face Clemson in the Supers. Site to be announced tomorrow.
  19. Michigan 4 Vanderbilt 3 Final in 10
  20. All signs pointing to a Rice/A&M Super Regional 5-2 Aggies in the 8th.
  21. The Longhorns don't have the arms to get through the regional format. They are geared very good for a 3-game series/Super Regional, but if they make a mistake in the current Regional format they haven't had the pitching to come out of the losers bracket, which should not be the case at a school like Texas.
  22. That is the funniest thing of seen in a long time. ;D Much better than Lou Pinella.
