Those two were hillarious. I always liked how he would priss around and throw himself at the ref whenever he needed to be "checked" for foriegn objects. I swear his finisher was to spray hair spray in the opponents eyes when the ref wasn't looking. Quite an angle.

Those rankings are based on the strength of schedule and record. Rice and Texas have played the two toughest schedules in the country, although I don't see Clemson and LSU in Houston come June.

Great Game last night. Cole St. Clair is returning nicely to form, and Kelley was unusally dominant. Kyle Russell is probably the best power hitter to come through Texas in some time. Owls were very solid last night save one inning.

I'm not calling anything for tomorrow night, just looking forward to it. I hope for an Owl win, but don't expect it ever against UT. It is on CSTV at 7:00. BW3 has access to that channel I know.

Some say that was because the pitcher's arms were dead after being over worked. Looks like with the number the UT bats are putting up pitching may be a moot point. Here's to the Longhorn bats going silent tomorrow at Rice.

Owls were on cruise control Saturday and Sunday. 12 runs Saturday and another 11 yesterday. Lets hope it carries over to tomorrow night's showdown with the Longhorns.

Very nice clinic by the Owls tonight. Good to see the return of Cole St. Clair from shoulder injury. Tonight was his 3rd game back and it looks like his return is giving the team a shot of confidence that has them playing like the Rice that everyone expected at the start of the season. Its a shame the LU pitching staff is having such a down season, there are really some bats up and down the Cardinal line-up.

Guess I'll be convincing the wife to let me miss church. Since I already have tickets...I can't let them go to waste right??? :'( ;D

2003 - They ended Rice's 30 game winning streak at Reckling Park in Houston. Not really close since then. The bats are there tonight and Chris Kelley can sometimes struggle. Rice - Chris Kelley (0-2 4.46) vs. LU - Brian Needham (4-1 4.30) Kelley has struggled lately after starting the season as the Friday starter for the first 3 weeks of the season. He pitched 7.0 innings allowing 7 hits and 2 ER against PVAMU last Tuesday in a no decision. Reports are Gilligan will use pitching by committee tonight for the Cardinals.

Can anyone seriously fault him for leaving. I mean this type of job comes along once in a lifetime. I just wonder if UK made the right choice. He was using Melvin Watkins players on some level here. I like the guy, but I think the jury is still out on him. I just don't think his resume is on par with some of the other out there.

I'd take that too, but the Owls don't play well mid-week, so it could be a little closer than my first prediction. Kerry can you keep the rain away please.
